In me3, the worth of Omega is the asset value of the mercs, which we can obtain already, so I ask again, what's the point?

Aria's blue...eyes? People can't deal with the fact that in MEU exists some Asari which is not interested in shep's pants contents.

I want omega as a main hub. I want there to be a racist Batarian bartender who poisons me. I want to make him drink his own poison. I want to watch the Asari dancers and waste my military budget tipping them. I want the vorcha to fall for Gavorn's tricks. I want to be told that I'm the blight of the galaxy. I want to hear war stories from the Patriarch.

You hit the wrong shortcut on your desktop, what you're looking for has numer "2", not "3".

Very funny. What I'm implying is that if ME3's Omega was anywhere near as awesome as ME2's, I'd buy it day one.

I hear you. But think yourself. It's war, it's hell. We may kick cerberus\\reapers ass and clear it, but I think it will be all ruins. Would you pay for ruins and memories of Omega v. ME2 ?

Thinking further, I suppose as a renegade-specific dlc there might be some merit in 'taking it back' - though it was never 'ours' in the first place.

However, I played as a Paragon...........

Didn't you recruit Mercs...?
What about the clinic mordin worked at? Wouldn't you want to make sure Mordin's legacy lives on?
How about the non criminal residents? That sick batarian you saved? That couple who you helped escape the quarantined area?

Considering that it will not have any effect on the endings, and that I haven't touched ME3 in past three months due to the lack of enthusiasm, it will come down to a price at this point. 5$? Sure, I'll get it just to have some fun in my spare time. More than that? Sorry, not interested enough.

It was always rundown anyways. It wouldn't be Omega if it was clean and sparkly like the Citadel.

I can't wait for DLCs. I hope there will be some post-ending, but I don't know what we would be doing there. Fighting mercs, or cerberus who'd like to take advantage of new age would be great.

Can't wait to play this, Aria's one of my favourite non-squaddies.

All DLC will be day one for me. I'm really excited for Omega and Leviathan! Just hoping we see some old faces on Omega - maybe get to help the Mad Preacher who proceeds to call us "the hands of the Reapers" again xD

I'm not interested in any DLC if BW won't make better endings (I mean improving them, including more things, scenes, gameplay parts etc.)

I still hope BW will make something for the endings...ME saga doesn't deserve an ending like that! I'll keep saying that BW at least should include a "small EC" in every DLC...

(or a post-ending DLC but I dunno how BW would manage that, unless they accept the IT)

Why should that damned ending and EMS be so very important? I would love to see Omega and learn more about it and Aria, and don't care how it affects the ending. By many of you's logic, romance is useless as it doesn't boost EMS. Funny camoes are useless as they don't boost EMS, etc...

They already did, it was called the Extended Cut.

To answer your other question, even if the Omega DLC is predictable, it still has the chance of being fun, which is the whole point of adding additional content.

Which is really the breaking point for some of us, we love the universe but for me at least playing Mass Effect is no longer fun. I know how it all ends and know no matter what I do in game I can't escape that outcome. The entire experience has been retroactively soured for me. So I have no desire to spend money on something I know I won't enjoy.

this.

Except that's just a shot of paint on turd...

...unless you believe in the IT which means you believe in Bioware.

Otherwise you  believe Bioware are awful writers and screwed up the most important part of the trilogy...

...in my opinion they haven't screwed up and IT is true, but that's just my opinion obviously :)

Yea, I'd be disapointed if you didn't have the option of putting someone else in charge.  I do like Aria, but my Shep certainly doesn't.

As you say, that's just your individual opinion. If you expect BioWare, or any game company to continue releasing more and more "re-ending" DLC packs to cater to each and every one of the millions of ME3 players all over the world...well hey, I have some DLC I'd like to sell you!

As for the indoctrination theory, it was an interesting idea but neither the game's actual content nor any of the endings (original or extended) ultimately support it. It relies on too many separate components for which there are other obvious in-game explanations. I'm afraid people are just grasping at straws at this point.

I understand what you're saying :) I think the "re-ending" packs are kinda meant from others as "each DLC adds a bit to the ending in some way" cos the leaked Leviathan stuff supposedly allows us to ask  Starbrat questions about said Leviathan...this kind of "adding to the ending" is what I'm hoping for (plus ultimately the IT reveal if it happens :P)

Please chat with us on the IT thread, we need discussion with people with different opinions! You seem nice and capable of having a discussion with! :)

The omega DLC will have to pull some pretty massive plot twists to be interesting.

It's not that I won't play it or wouldn't find it fun. I just find it hard to imagine how they could do it in a way that wasn't horribly predictable.

Maybe we'll get there and discover that one guy actually isn't still arguing with the elcor bouncer at the door to Afterlife.

Probably they won't release other "ending DLC" but if they will, maybe I'll buy them.

If BW won't do this, well, they've lost a customer and a supporter. Damnit I paid the game but I'm completely unsatisfied.
So? I should ask for a reparation? (lol)

Sadly I think I won't buy anything more from BW...They made one of my favourite saga and then they've destroyed it....
