I really wish they take lot of care with the content, after rannoch and tutchanka this could be the next shiny gem.

What if part of the Omega plot allows Mordin to survive? Perhaps it unlocks a dialog path where Maelon is the one to sacrifice himself instead or Mordin?

Or would that cheapen Mordin's sacrifice?

it was never planned as a dlc but a part of the main game in the beginning, but they didn't have time to make it so they cut it out

How do you know this?

If it is the case, then it's like to be just an ordinary dlc with no affect of the ending. Like From Ashes.

There a files in the game that suggest Aria starts her assult on omega and that she wants you to be the tip of the spear.  Also evidence that she has control of omega now and it was thanks to sheps help

Yeah, personally I'd rather this weren't the case. His death scene is absolutely beautiful. He gets probably the greatest sendoff in the series.

I'll check it out on youtube, it'll be a cold day in hell before i spend any more money on mass effect

So you're so disgusted/disappointed/whatever with ME3 that you don't want to pay for anymore content, but you still want to view it?

Why even bother with seeing if the content is good if you've already decided it's not worth the purchase?

I guess he tries to boycott bioware which is useless as thousands will buy the dlcs anyway and me3 has already sold more than the previous games. Unless he manage to mobilize a huge group of boycotters, the only one thas is losing anything is this guy because looking at gameplay on youtube is not the same thing as playing it. ME is all about atmosphere and u cannot feel it looking at videos on the internet. i dont understand people that only like ME because of the story. If u want a story then watch a movie, stories in games tend to suck.

Of course thousands will buy it.But many more of us will not give them a single cent. And I bought all the ME2 Dlc including the crappy appearance packs.

Of all the pre-ending DLC I can imagine, retaking Omega is at the bottom of the list. It serves no point to the ME3 storyline at all. We know will we defeat Cerberus, thus it is utterly unnecessary to that plot, and there's no reason to help the pirate queen take back Tortuga as a favor. We get very little in return. And if this is just a set up to send us through the Omega-4 Relay to grab Collector Base wreckage, that in itself is another problem that many of us still haven't forgiven the core game for.

Why would we possibly want an Omega DLC?

Really hope that's just one path. I won't be buying this dlc if all it is, is a linear shootathon to place Aria back in charge of Omega. No thanks, give me choices over who runs Omega and i'll buy.

The omega DLC will have to pull some pretty massive plot twists to be interesting.

It's not that I won't play it or wouldn't find it fun. I just find it hard to imagine how they could do it in a way that wasn't horribly predictable.

Maybe we'll get there and discover that one guy actually isn't still arguing with the elcor bouncer at the door to Afterlife.

Maybe he still is, that would be hilarious. Bit like that toaster refund guy.

Annoying Guy: Let me in! Aria's expecting me!

Elcor: With bemused exasperation. Cerberus chased Aria off the station months ago. Alarmed. An indoctrinated soldier is about to shoot you in the head.

its like giving the movie Titanic another subplot if you pay another 20 bucks, regardless if you buy it or not the ship will sink and everyone die

Give me a path where I can nuke Omega to kingdom come.  Now that, I'd buy.

Thankfully, that doesn't happen at the end of ME3.

Yes, or at least new enemy types.  Was the Adjutant the creatures released on Omega in the comic?

I think they didn't make it into the game because they had some issues implementing them.

Maybe they won't with the Omega DLC.

Who knows.

I like Aria though, she's one of my favorite Asari. So I'll buy this.

The only problem with the DLC is that everytime you go into Purgatory, Aria is always sitting on the couch. If she gets Omega back, you can bet your ass that she wouldn't return to the Citidel!

I hope that there is a DLC that adds more gameplay to the Take Back Earth secton, this part of the game is severely short changed IMO.

I'm going to wait and see what everyone else thinks of the DLC before I decide on whether or not I will purchase it.
