All synthesis does is let the Catalyst off the hook for giving a **t about oraganics. synthesis does not create peace, people will still kill other people simple as that but now every one and everything is synthetic so no big deal. we of course know that organics kill organics for lots of different reasons synthetics are no different. legion for example had no problem killing its owne kind and legion is not just one geth but a few hundred or thousand (i for get the real number) the heretics were going to rewrite the other geth  to fall in line with them and their way of thinking , in a sense killing who they were and how they thought, legion even comments in ME2 on wondering how they and the heretics grew so far apart. conflict is abound in life making every one the same through space magic solves nothing.
