considering that in the game you can actually reach the amount of war asset points that will allow you to reach the breath scene in destroy and all other things in the other endings.

If future dlc will just be abled to enjoy 1 and a half hour more gameplay and then just end up as war asset points that originaly wont matter regardless. is there any point of buying more dlc that will just be like this.

if they do end up as a war asset points then those points must matter in some way. but in the current state its just a waste.

personally i think it isn´t enough that you only get few more gameplay hours. if in the dlc bioware could at least hide something that could have a impact in the ending.

I doubt there will be an impact (at least anything significant) in the ending. The EC was the only thing we're going to be getting ending-wise at any point in the near future, and that was only due to massive fan demand.

Could change the context of the ending without physically changing it.

Also, more time in the universe and an expansion of the story. That's worth spending a little money and having fun with the game.

I don't buy DLC to change a game's ending. I buy it to give me more content.

I don't think they'll be doing any SP content at all, one piece of DLC perhaps. They know the score.

Leviathan is confirmed and Omega is basically confirmed.

I must have missed that then. Last time I looked these were only rumors. In fact, I do think they still are.

That's pretty much my two cents as well, OP.

Stuff like Omega and Leviathan is all well and good, but I really don't feel motivated to buy any of it. I'll probably just watch it on Youtube. The only DLC that i'll be interested in paying for is post-ME3 content or perhaps a romance DLC - neither of which are likely to happen.

The point of ME3 DLC is the same as the point of ME2 DLC - to enjoy the gameplay, be a part of new story, maybe get some new weapon/upgrade. Fun.

ME2's DLC was (mostly) building up stuff for ME3. It actually had a point to the story.
ME3's DLC will just be irrelevant filler adventures. Who cares.

I don't see any difference between ME3 and ME2 DLC.

I'm not going to buy any ME3 DLC, probably. But I didn't buy any ME2 DLC either.

I agree, OP.

If, despite varied efforts, I still get the same ending, there is no reason to think any addition to the journey is worth the price.

Just so I'm following this.... is the argument really that a DLC has to change a game's endings to make buying that DLC worthwhile? Or is it that your guys are still so sad about the endings that you don't want any more ME3?

This is very true and I see no reason for some people freaking out over nothing.

Ironicaly you don't have to play any of the DLCs from ME1 to ME3 and making a big deal about it is useless.

It sounds like you haven't played any of the DLCs throghout the series then based on you still get the same endings despite varied efforts.

ah well shep deserves a break in the action, but nobody said his kid cannot be curious information broker wondering who the heck the creators of the catalyst were.

EABioware needs to finish the the ideal they've frustrated fans with "Another Story".. see credits older version of the IM talking with what sounded like the reaperkid.

I just like to follow arguments. Is the issue here that you're sad about ME3's ending, or that DLCs in general have to change the ending of a game to be worth buying?

Edit: feel free to substitute P.O.d, butthurt, or whatever else ywould be more accurate than "sad" above.

Imagine if the dlc content would change the endings somehow.... and with $10 price tag... That would be a new S***storm, cuz it wouldn't be free etc etc.

I think nowadays people are a bit unreasonable.

I don't care about EMS or the endings.... All I care is to get more game hours with characters I simply <3

Mass Effect 3, pre-/post-EC, is an abomination and not worth my time to work towards. Where ever did you get that "in general" nonsense?

The nonsense seems to be coming from you since you're being closed-minded and unreasonable.
