I will not buy any DLC if it's not involving Harbinger.

ME2's DLC didn't affect the ending. On the contrary, Kasumi actually made you slightly more likely to fail in the Suicide Mission.

So I have no idea why this card is being pulled out now.

If memory serves though they said that the post release DLC was a bridge towards ME 3. ME 3 doesn;t have that, any DLC is jsut a balant hack up the original story and sell bits of it in chunks to get more money. Personnal I don't see any attracition to DLC after the end but I'm sure you'll say that's just me,

I'll never condemn someone else's opinion. I may disagree with it, and argue against it, but I'm glad you form your own opinion. If someone thinks something, it's likely another 100 are thinking the same, so it's unlikely you are alone.

Out of curiousity, did you buy either Kasumi: Stolen Memory or Overlord?

And then, did you buy Lair of the Shadow Broker or Arrival?

I got all of them, actually and I enjoyed them, I mostly played the major dlc's after the suicide mission as that felt more real and had different interactions, ( taking Legion to Overlord for example and Shadow broker).

The ending is a part of it, I'm never going to enjoy it, but the other part is that by putting a firm ending on the story and then asking us to pay for something before it, I don't know it just doesn't sit right with me. Even when my feelings for Bioware were at their best I wouldn't have liked it, now it just smacks too much of money above all else to me

Ah yes, forgot you could play Overlord before the Suicide Mission. I always played Kasumi and Overlord before, with Lair and Arrival afterword (seems to be the way it was intended).

I didn't love the ending, but with ME2 DLC containing some of my favourite missions, I'm hoping ME3 DLC will too. I understand the feeling of being ripped-off though. It's why I'm incredulous that some people would have DLC unlock new endings.

No, I won't buy DLC to get new endings. That's the lowest thing you could possibly do.

I'm not suggesting people pay for new endings, like you I think that would end up even worse than what we have now, it's just I don't understand how they intend to make any SP DLC a worthwhile element now, I don't mean to come back to the point that's been beaten to death but Shepard's story is over, asking us to pay more to add a few more bits to it that in the grand scale of things won't make any difference. Even if Ireland wasn't in a recession I wouldn't go for it, to be honest I still struggle to engage with the story even though I have about 6 ME 2 characters waiting to be used.

I couldn't replay any of the games until the Extended Cut. At least the endings are actually different now, instead of a simple colour change.

I understand what you mean. You've let Shepard go. His/her story is finished. But certain DLCs could really add to ME3 I think. Going to more homeworlds would be great additions. Hoping that the next one does actually take play on Kahje.

You don't have to play the endings again...
You can use the DLC as a palate cleanser...

maybe for some, the game is replayable.  I guess for others like myself, even the prospect of more worlds to explore doesn't make sense in the grand scheme of the ME3 story we have.  Certain things have to be satisfied by the DLC to make narrative sense given what I know of how the galaxy "ends" so to speak.
