Just so I'm following this.... is the argument really that a DLC has to change a game's endings to make buying that DLC worthwhile? Or is it that your guys are still so sad about the endings that you don't want any more ME3?

Problem?

I just like to follow arguments. Is the issue here that you're sad about ME3's ending, or that DLCs in general have to change the ending of a game to be worth buying?

Mass Effect 3, pre-/post-EC, is an abomination and not worth my time to work towards. Where ever did you get that "in general" nonsense?

The nonsense seems to be coming from you since you're being closed-minded and unreasonable.

Yes, because you disagree with me I am "closed-minded and unreasonable." Would you like some coffee with that ad hominem?

Edit: I believe I would. You're on your own.

I guess "butthurt"was the word I was looking for.

Sorry, dan. I shouldn't have lumped you in with the OP. OF course, he's probably where you are too, but he sounded like he was making a general point.

I can disagree with people without them being closed-minded and/or unreasonable while you're comments tell us a different story.

I'm not insulting you at all while you should treat others on how you want to be treated.

I'll look over your change of heart on wording.

he's not being closed-minded and unreasonble, he''s stating his opinion and how he feels, when is that ever a problem?

What's the point of eating good tasting food? It's not like it matters, I could eat bland paste and still get the same protein and nutrients anyway. It's not like the flavor matters in the long run, it's all just going to be dissolved where I can't see it and end up a big pile a ****s no matter what I eat.

Sometimes it really is for the immediate experience and not the long term placement in the cosmic order of life.

He has a right to an opinion while lashing out at other people for a difference of opinion is what makes him closed-minded and unreasonable.

You're better off by moving on or staying on topic based on your general attitude and treatment of others.

either answer is bad. but honestly, id say its atleast becasue of both.

youve only listed 2 of many reasons why someone wouldnt want to buy DLC for ME3.

Few more gameplay hours was all we got from ME2 DLC.

While this is true, there was always ME3 on the horizon, along with the potential of anything we did with the DLC to have an effect on the ending of the trilogy. This was the driving factor for me, anyways - now, with the endings as they are, I personally don't see a reason to play anything that takes place before the final events

I can see what you guys are thinking, but seriously, gaining more knowledge and assets to help against the Reapers resulting in absolutely nothing, kinda doesn't make sense.

since the ending delivered emotional satisfaction dlc for the sp campaign will give me more story and add to a game distinctly lacking in build up quests and story. I cannot wait until we get some mission dlc.

I agree with you OP, BiowEAre won't be seeing any more of my cash to extend a game that already crapped all over the ME universe.

Not a single Bioware DLC has changed the ending of the games. Not the DAO, DA2, ME1/ME2 (yes, not even Arrival) DLC and neither the one we got for ME3 and yet there were several well worth buying. Expecting a DLC which by definition should be something optional and not essential to the main story is wrong.

The best thing they can do is give us a new crew mate imo.

There's one small but very important difference between all these titles and ME3.

Which of those has the same circumstances as ME3?

eh, whatever they do I hope they do it right.

@zsom

I feel Javik should have been in the vanilla game and not DLC, he's pretty much essential(imo) to the story.
