Can you post a link to Specter's gold solo video? Some forum members are having trouble finding it. Neither can I.

I heard reports that the escort objective is always the final objective on platinum, and I have my doubts anyone is going to be able to slowly crawl across the map without cover successfully, no matter how skilled they are.

We're aware of this problem. This is only a wager on the first verifiable Platinum run, not the first ever. Though they may be one and the same.

We're aware of this problem. This is only a wager on the first verifiable Platinum run, not the first ever. Though they may be one and the same.

I've seen one vid of Sp3c7er and though he surely is a great sniper I've never seen him solo.

Maybe you should take a look at his youtube channel then. He was the first to solo the game during the demo with a Salarian Widow Sniper before the game got way easier with more consumables, weapon mods, better ammo and all that stuff. Also there is a Krogan Vanguard solo vs. Reapers and the Turian Sentinel Claymore vs. Reapers on Condor is also a very nice video.

I searched you tube for Sp3c7er and all I found was a Black Widow demonstration not a solo-he's very good though. Besides he doesn't even post on BSN (that I know of). I could just as easily come to the conclusion that the best player is in fact someone nobodies ever heard of. There is always somebody better and likely somebody will solo platinum the minute it becomes available to them.

Of the known players, he is the best. We on the PC generally agree on this.

Well, for me the best sniper is Grimy_Bunyip, i haven't seen him in a while.

He is not fan of soloing, he has done it only once in Reactor Reaper with the Kishock in 45 minutes, not great time but it was his first solo.

Until now, I haven't seen a Sniper as good as him.

Grimy is leagues behind Stentron and Specter in sniping, not even worth comparing.

You guys get impressed over the weirdest things. A cloaking SI draining life from non-organics sniping. Cloak, hit ED, stun, snipe. Repeat. Leave Atlases running around in case you need shields. True sniping, doesn't require a stasis bubble, a stunned victim, etc. TC to hide or hide and aim.

Unimpressive.

I'm impressed cause he's better at the game than i am.... there's nothing weird about that.
