I know you can just go into the harddrive and put it on a USB and throw it on your PC, but is it possible to have it work? I'm getting a PC for some PC gaming and I think I'd like Dragon Age better on the PC, so when I get DA III, if I put some of my save files from Xbox to PC can I transfer them? Or would I have to just buy the game and replay it to transfer anything?

The short answer is, "No."

(And the longer answer still involves buying the game again for the other platform.)

np.

BTW: DAO/DA2 can be MUCH more fun on a PC, where you can mod it to behave the way you'd prefer.

For DAO/A I have dozens of mods installed, and over 4GB downloaded. For DA2 I play with only a few; increased movement speed, increased combat dialogue, and a bunch of CC mods (PT's Vibrant Colour's/Eyes, LOTC's Improved Eyelashes, Goldtone skin, etc...)

I know it would be. I have played KotOR on both the PC and on the Xbox and I very much prefer it on the PC. I like every genre except RPGs on the consoles better. Not that it's better, it's just that when you play on consoles your whole life you get used to it. x)

I was going to play on the PC either way, but I'm kind of bummed as I would have to buy DA III on both PC and Xbox because of all of the save files that I have.

Regardless of whether or not you could "transfer" saves, you'd have to buy two licenses to play on two platforms. That's just a given...

Oh, well I meant that I wanted to play with my files transferred over and if I could get my files transferred on the PC then I would only have to buy one copy. I'll get it for both because I do want to see my decisions carried over.
