> Canyon and Farm Fields terrain for the Rural Castle Exterior tileset.
> New features and groups for Castle Exterior Rural and City Interior 2 tilesets.

> Over 100 new placeables by Tiberius Morguhn
> Vaei's Custom Animation Suite
>StoneMonkey's Flying phenotype now with cloak and robe support.

Project Q v1.5 also offers built-in compatibility with some of the Community's best Tilesets by authors such as Baba Yaga, Lord of Worms, and Six.

Awesome! I'll be messing with this all day. Perfect release time with Baba's new forest tileset released as well, both of which I need for my new module. Thanks a ton for your contribution guys!

Wow guys. I dont know how many members you guys have left to work on PQ but it is incredible. The amount of new and (not before discovered) content is amazing and almost everything is a usefull 10+1 and looking 10+1 when you compare it to 1.69 content. And _six is clearly the king of undeads:D The spectral warriors and new spectres/ wraith I guess are f****** cool you know. I cant mention what all I think is superb and the best compliment i can make is. Im totally convinced now to use PQ as my module base and rework my own content to match your 2das and everything.

So congrats for the work and yeah, great stuff!!!

ps
2 erf entries are not correct. Palette empty is palette crate and one urn is like the other;)

pps
I feel guilty somehow to not mention how cool the gargoyle and the abishais are and of course the CASTLE and groups for city interior and the tno canyon, with the right use of placeables (now a bit empty) will make some cool areas later too.

Thanks Baba, glad you like everything. You're right, Six really nails the undead. Now if I can just convince him to do something with zombies...

Of the remaining "untouched by Q" creature models I think the ettin and fire giant are the most glaring, especially after the work on the frost giant.  One thing that surprised me though was bugbears being replaced with a new model, also shared by the new orc variant with just different heads.  Maybe it's just me, but I didn't think the old bugbears were that bad.

The new ones are nice, though

And isn't there an updated Ettin, of sorts? The two-headed giant (I think its one of Baba's creations originally?) basically is an update, and does the job nicely for me. Of course, I am a person who's been asking them to do updated Bugbears for a while so I might just be trying to shift attention towards my particular lack *cough*

Gonna echo the love for the spectrals, though. And I'm loving new frost giants, though I have a feeling I'm gonna have to sneak in and make a few more variants for my personal use

I guess my only disappointment is that the new wraith and spectre use a_ba still, rather than the standard wraith animations for that floating creepy look, but I can see why they were kept standard

Typically you wont find orcs and bugbears in the same encounter so the shared geometry isn't really an issue. I've actually thought about bulking up the bugbears a bit more and using the new ogre animations for them. The similarities in the two model types is also why the orcs were offered up as alternatives.

We have a two-headed giant I use for an ettin, but I do agree that something that looks a little more like the Monster Manual wouldn't be a bad thing.

The new wraith and spectre models use the demonblade animations, which are linked to a_ba. While this does take away that spooky flying style of the originals, these are meant to wield weapons. Personally, I prefer to use the hooded wraiths by Devil's Hitman.

The similar appearance between orcs and bugbears works great for me as I've stripped out DnD's nonsensical reference to Lord of the Rings. Just go with JRR's descriptive term goblin, and make them all goblinoids. Now the Orcs are simply small bugbears. Thats awesome!

What? Naaaah

I do give the whole batch of them their own personality, though to finish the group I could go for some Hobgoblins, which were basically Urukhai anyway. Or, well, spartan goblins

Q is now available from the downloads section of the Q site as a direct download (no login required). The vault links have been updated to point to this source instead. Though considering the vault's recent download annoyances, it might be better for any world owners using Q to direct players to the Q site directly instead.

Thanks to TrickyHandz our kindly web sage for this.

Trouble downloading files from the vault

That thread really needs to be stickied. Or better yet, put on the vault front page since it's their issue.

Failing all else there's a big bold link ™ at the top of our vault page directing you to where you can download them on qnwn.net, circumventing all the vault and nexus issues entirely.
