Hey there,
I'm new to the toolset (and modding in general), and I'm trying to start off with a simple reskin of some armour. I was looking through the texturepack.erf file, and I can't find the armour I'm looking for (Wade's dragonbone armour). There seem to be a lot of other items that aren't in there either. Does anyone know where these missing item textures are, or where I should start looking for them?
Simple question, but I'm stuck...

They're using standard textures.
Wades medium armor is for example: pm(pf)_arm_medb (i think it was
A good point to start is checking out what you want to edit and have a look at the "Variation"-property. This tells you, what model & texture is used.

Ah, thanks! I found it, sort of... It's the same armour, but it's bright red, green and blue. there's another file, but it's just plain grey armour. I'm guessing there's more than one part to the texture...
This isn't going to be as easy as I'd hoped.

Color is managed by the tint-files.
Same name like the diffuse-maps but with a "t" in the last spot.
example: pm_arm_medb_0t.dds
If you don't want the game to use those tint-maps on your armor, just delete the tint Statement in the mao-file (f.e. pm_arm_medb.mao).
