Here is my list (judging all games relative to what was out at the time of their release and what resources were available at the time):
1) Baldur's Gate 1 - truly a masterpiece and far ahead of its time.
2) KOTOR - some of the best story-telling you will find in a game.
3) Baldur's Gate 2 - Baldur's Gate with more twists and turns
4) DA:O - created a new fantasy setting and story on an epic scale. Character interactions were better than perhaps anything else created at the time
5) Mass Effect 1 - created the Mass Effect setting and a new universe to explore. Combat was clunky, but the RPG elements more than made up for it.
6) Neverwinter Nights - probably the most underrated Bioware game. Truly fun game to play with interesting storytelling and a great sense of exploration and nonlinearity.
7) Mass Effect 2 - solid continuation of Mass Effect franchise and improved combat
8) Dragon Age II - it was a bit too ambituous, had some glaring flaws (ex: reused maps), and many of the elements did not resonate well with me (ex: the supposed passage of 10 years in-game), but it still had its moments.
9) Mass Effect 3 - my least favorite Bioware game to date. Combat was solid, but the short, linear SP and the detachments, contradictions, and oversimplifications of the plot did not sit well with me.
Not considered: Jade Empire, Sonic Chronicals: Dark Brotherhood, TOR, MDK2, and Shattered Steel. I haven't played any of those games yet though I hope to play Jade Empire sometime in the future.
