Hahaa... no. Lightyears ahead of DA2, and equal to ME2 in my opinion. However, in comparison to their older titles, ME2 and ME3 can't quite reach the same heights.

Mass Effect as a whole is, IMO, the best franchise Bioware has come up with.

DAO spent way too much time painting the entire thing in huge swaths of grey, which is the reason I seriously disliked KOTOR2.

Of the ME series itself, ME3 and 2 are tied for the best, with ME1 coming in a distant, distant last place.

DAO > ME <--> ME2 > ME3 <--> DA2

For me the best game was DAO, including the DLCs, The Witch Hunt made it perfect for me as I romanced Morrigan.

I just feel like DA2 and ME3 were made by some other company.

I'm about to play KOTOR and Jade Empire, so I don't know about them yet.

In terms of narrative problems and unmet expectations, absolutely. MDK2 appears to be their worst game based on review scores and reception. Even their weird Sonic the Hedgehog RPG for the DS was pretty decent.

I said earlier  that Baldurs Gate is perhaps their best game, while Dragon Age 2 is their most important one.

In regards to Mass Effect as a trilogy, its already up there with the likes of Halo and Final Fantasy as being a premiere franchise, so it doesn't have to be their best game to be a good game. I would like to see a new Mass Effect that tops the trilogy, so hopefully BioWare makes it happen.

Yeah it's my least played Bioware game as well seems like a continuing trend...

That's not how Bioware themselves see it. They think ME3 is the ideal starting point in the Mass Effect Extended Universe.

lol no, ME3, in fact, is the worst BioWare game I've played so far.

ME2 probably the best all round.

Though I'm yet to play KOTOR.
