There's only one Prothean left in the galaxy in ME3. If suddenly a bunch more pop up, it's gonna discount all of the From Ashes DLC and 99% of Prothean allusions in ME1-2.

I said in another post if we have Protheans in, it's basically just becoming an open house party that anyone can crash.

I would have done a Spectre DLC but it wouldn't have as much variety as doing Alien Special Forces (in terms of races, it would be just Turians, Asari and Salarians).

Also I had an idea for a Volus Pistol that acted like a pistol version of the Widowbut with a better reserve clip capacity, much faster reload (like in between the Kishock and the orther pistols), no innate penetration, close damage and no damage reduction when hip firing. The intent was a cheap, powerful holdout weapon for use when business transactions went really badly.

Another would be a Vorcha shotgun that fires a solid spiked cannon ball that could be charged to fire an explosive "Bola" for more damage but greater ammo consumption.

Saren and Okeer were cloning krogans, why can't the same work for Protheans?

I think he was saying that you CAN clone them, but Javik and everything about him is centered around him being the LAST of the Protheans, it's in most of his dialogue. Adding protheans would ****** off people who bought From Ashes for the LAST PROTHEAN EVER.

I agree that they could fit a vanguard and possibly adept roles. The gameplay potential is great.

BUT, there were supposed to be NO Protheans left. There is now 1. Cloning members of a race that is very plentiful and that you can use multiple tissue samples from is one thing. To say you can clone a whole race from Javik alone is making him into a second Rachni Queen, which sounds rather ridiculous when I say it out loud.

Would it be a great gameplay addition: yes. Would it totally turn the game on it's head and mess it up as bad as multi-colored endings: yes.

Just my opinion.

Woul a power like a tech concussive shot/throw be good. Basically, it's similar to concussive shot but the ranks 6 make you chose between a fire effect and a cryo effect (like in shield mastery). Also does a base damage of around 300.

Would character that could easily set off fire and and cryo explosions be good? Like say how the vorcha sentinel can do fire explosions easier.

You never heard of a turian cabal? They are special groups where BIOTIC turians are put in. Also, see turian sentinel for biotic powers. I never suggested a drell infiltrator, Thabe was a vanguard. Nor a salarian vanguard or asari adept. And if you bothered to read my posts you can see I'm against the idea of turians in multiplayer. Like I said, learn2read.

No reason to get all hot and excited ;-)
Anyhow, I really had not heard of the Turian Cabals before. So my bad there. But I still don't like the idea. And the Salarian Vanguards, Drell Indiltrators etc were not specifically targeted at you, but more in a generall Direction. Especially the Drell Infiltrator gets thrown around a lot of times around these Forums. The shot just happened to hit you (Geth Prime Curvesnipe )
