i get disconnected alot or my game freezes up almost always in wave 10. i almost never leave a match on purpose unless my game is glitching real bad that i can't do anything. i hosted a game once and lost the connection at wave 11 and when i logged back on, another player sent me a message cursing at me for leaving. i told him i lost connection but whatever. all that work for nothing. :/

Um... Can't you just wait until it restarts, then finish the damn thing yourself? That's why the BioGods gave us Cobras. Stop whining and finish. Sounds like a "Please carry me" thread...

I really like how Bungie handled early quitters in Halo Reach. They offered random HUGE credit rewards to people who always played through, and people who quit early big time diminished their chances of getting a jackpot.

I find it hard to believe that 3 people on your team quit at wave 10 nice try tho. Also people who put equipment on before matches are less likely to quit so you should check their loadouts before you ready up.

While it's true that it doesn't really seem sensible that people would quit on a certain wave (and not get credits), these are RANDOMS we're talking about. Sensible was the first thing to go when they picked up that controller.

Also, I hate to say it, but I'm betting the percentage of quitters is FAR higher than many think it is

i get disco'd fairly regularly... i think each consumable i use adds 20% to the odds of getting dumped.

and i do quit occasionally, but only when lagging so severely i cannot interact with anything. if i cannot hit anything, cannot replenish ammo (even f8), i'm just deadweight.

no fun for me as a player and no help to anyone else on the squad.

I get disconnect very frequently. Never quit a match with the exception of being thrown into gold by a server leader, when I'm suppose to be on Silver.

I, for one, will occasionally quit a match...... though you were generally here me say "ahhh damnit! Sorry...."*errortgunknown hs left the match* I've got kids though.... a 3 yer old nd a baby... sometimes he wakes up and I HAVE to go... and I feel bd bout it but id rather open up a slot so you can have a chnce at getting another person..... I get where your frustrtion is coming from though, I really do.... you can tell its when the player is BEING the baby, not running to get the baby

That may be true, but what if I used all my cobra by the 10th wave to help out others and myself? No medi either. How do you cope with no consumables on 10-11 with one other player when the wave restarts? To add to injury you play support character like engineer... I aint that good.

Another thing is that often I get booted or lose connecntion with host migration. Its like 50-50 methinks.

The quit match button isnt the problem...This whole weekend ive been "Disconnected from the EA Servers" more then the past two months combined. What the heck is going on there.
