This isn't an opinion, and you're just being stupid now. There are clear signs of preparations being made throughout ME 2. But you're just whining because the Council didn't build ten bajillion dreadnoughts and beat the Reapers in five minutes. That would be contrived, bad writing.

Really, when it comes down to it, the only real evidence of the imminent annihilation of all developed life in the galaxy is that the Citadel got attacked by a big ship. That's really all there is. You're out of your mind if you think any real life military or government would devote the titanic amount of resources required to fully mobilize based on that. They'd have revolts. You think citizens would nod and smile when their taxes are increased by a factor of 10 because the government says a galactic annihilation is coming?

The Alliance is building ships at a reasonable rate. They're sending teams to investigate with the Arrival Project and Project Aurora. They're increasing security and developing technologies. If you read the Cerberus Daily News, there's a lot more. There's every reason to assume the Council and other species are doing the same. But having every man woman and child drop their lives to build dreadnoughts would be ridiculous.

No matter what, the Reapers are going to hit the galaxy hard, and there's going to be heavy losses. That's really the end of it.

Strawman.

More strawman, and conjecture.

That's like a little 'get out of jail free' card on this forum, isn't it? Say the magic words, and you're excused from having to think or argue.

It's not a strawmen, the conjecture is perfectly reasonable and justified, and calling your argument stupid doesn't invalidate mine. I'm curious if you actually know what a 'strawman argument' is.

I'm fairly certain he doesn't since neither of the arguments he labels as such are strawmen.

Jump out the nearest and highest window.....

Seriously I don't buy the whole I didn't know about the clone shep biz she was the head of the program she authorized everything knew about every single ongoing project to bring shep back and she doesn't know about the clone?

Not to mention she doesn't know about what went into shep? She's a liar if you were tasked to bring someone back from a pancake then you best know you stuff and if you don't you study and then you bring in experts who do then you study their stuff so you know if its going to work.

I know perfectly what they mean, but it seems to be you that continues to make them.
