I would have told Shepard that I was investigating Cerberus. Not act so suspicious. Seriously. She doesn't tell me why she needs access to Alliance Intel so I didn't give it to her and because I didn't give it to her, she dies. Seriously WTF?

You should know by now that not giving people stuff in Mass Effect kills them

'Also since i've been there so how about I come with you and show you around?'

I would like to say something constructive about this topic but the trolls on this thread make it a waste of time. OP, I'd rather give you my answer in a more Miranda-friendly environment.

I wanna hear it.  I came for the masturbation jokes, but I'll stay for constructive ideas on how Miranda could have been used better.  I mean utilised better.

Apparently constanly picking my catsuit out of my crevices.

Also, shoeing that pesky camera man away from behind me.

That B**** should have told me. But she didn't. And then she died. Good riddance I say.

I had her die on her mission, but then I reloaded, so I could take advantage of her assets.

And yet, it's always orbiting the same star.

I love the way you can tell two red dwarves apart just by looking at them through a window, too.

the star is the same, it's mentioned in the books how TIM uses it to make himself look grander, plus it played a part in the dark engery ending.

Ah yes, "Dark Energy". The universal fifth force identified by astronomers during Earth's late twentieth century.

We have dismissed that claim.

For a serious response:  Following the events of ME2 I would have
teamed up with Liara, providing her with every single possible piece of
knowledge I have on Cerberus, the Reapers, and any other dirty laundry I know
regarding such things.  Once I’ve done
this I’d form a plan with her to black mail and leverage response from the
council races in order to actually get them prepared and working together as
fast as possible so that there actually WOULD be a response team ready for the
reaper arrival.

Seriously that’s one thing that really bugged me about ME3…
You had two highly adept intelligence agents, one of whom is The Freakin’
Shadow Broker and yet between the two they couldn’t black mail, pressure, or
even ruse their way to getting the council to get their collective ****
together and prepare for the invasion? It just doesn’t make sense. The
Alliance, especially, as the only division of government that actually did
believe Shepard, should have been under constant pressure to be better
prepared. As it is in ME3 not only did they say “We’re not prepared enough”
they also don’t seem to have even TRIED to prepare enough.

This thread has a lot of HERP DERP in it.

The Miranda Lawson arc seemed all right. However, if we are to take Miranda Lawson as the serious ass kicker she is supposed to be, and given she was right beside Shepard...she could have played a larger role. What doesn't make too much sense is with Spectre status, Shepard could clearly have prevented Council and Alliance interference with her (particularly since she is rogue Cerberus) and honestly, the Normandy is probably one of the safest places for her. Given all the side missions you are doing to gather war assets anyway, being led to believe she has to pursue her own goals separately seems a bit weak. It would have made more sense for her to be part of the crew, and fit in her story with her sister a bit better. jmo.

If I was Miranda?

I'd probably change my clothes, dye my hair, get some actual armor and join a mercenary group to hide from TIM.

Then I'd take over the mercenary group (cause I'm amazing) and look into the situation on Sanctuary. I'd inform Shepard of the situation, lead my team to Horizon and destroy the Cerberus facility.

Obviously the entire team is killed off in the fight because I suck at leading (just look at what happens if you pick Ms. Lawson as team leader in the suicide mission). I get severely injured by Kai Leng but get saved by Shepard who arrives just in time (and also because I'm wearing actual armor). I rejoin the Normandy crew and reminisce with Tali and Garrus.

Then for no reason I will hook up with Javik, whose genetic material somehow combines with my own modified genes to allow us to have a freaky hybrid Prothean-human baby.

I wanna hear it.  I came for the masturbation jokes, but I'll stay for constructive ideas on how Miranda could have been used better.  I mean utilised better.

(1) Miranda would have started contacting Shepard and telling him something strange is going on within Cerberus, and she's worried. You can tell her about the huskified human you found on Mars, and Miranda decides to investigate. This was her organization, after all, and she feels responsible.

(2) She contacts you from time to time and gives you information about war assets you can collect.

(3) Finally, she finds out about Sanctuary. At this point, she also finds out about her sister, and because of that, she decides not to wait for Shepard but to go in alone, leaving you an email with her destination.

(4) When Shepard arrives at Sanctuary, all goes as usual until near the end, where we get to see Miranda fight Kai Leng. She was holding her own against him but he's Kai Leng after all and she's losing ground. Kai Leng runs off when he sees Shepard coming. Miranda and Shepard go to the control center of Sanctuary where they find her father. There is a more extended conversation where Miranda's origin is brought up and can be commented on, and her father is rather more intelligent and self-assured as in the current version. It's a real confrontation instead of the fake one we got. In the end, she kills him.

(5) We get the tracer to Cronos Station as usual. At this point, Miranda can either join the team or she'll leave to track down some old friends who will help in the attack on Cronos Station. When Shepard gets to Cronos Station, Miranda will leave to enter separately / will have entered separately. She tells you you're making too much noise for what she has in mind.

(6) The attack on Cronos Station goes as usual, only at the entrance to TIM's control centre you'll meet Miranda. She's got the key to the control centre. If Miranda's dead, you don't have the key and need to blast your way in, and in the time that takes important data on Cerberus will be deleted from the computers there. If Miranda's there with the key, she opens the door and takes control of the station's informational infrastructure (add some War Assets to the Crucible section). While she's exploring the data, Shepard is talking with the Prothean VI. At the end, Miranda says she'll take control of the station and the remaining non-indoctrinated Cerberus assets to help against the Reapers, but you can convince her to destroy it instead. If you let her take control, she'll also take control of all ex-Cerberus war assets, multiplying their value by 1.5.

OK,  enough for now. This is only a broad outline. I have to figure some stuff in, like the romance.
