[Haku Tabris]

 I've updated my computers' driver to the latest one, that fixed my previous problems at the very beginning of the game. I've reached Act 2 with no problems but when then I go to destroy one of the tome books in the Viscounts' Keep, and the game freezes after a few seconds of combat and then crashed. So I ignored that quest, for now, and went to do other things and the game worked smoothly. But then when I go to Bartrands' Estate, only a minute into the battle between Varic the game freezes and crashes. I then decided to put that off, but it still bugs me that I can't finished those quests! Help?

EDIT: My computer is a Windows 7 64-bit, I have ATI Radeon HD 4200 driver and have the Black Emporium and The Exiled Prince DLC

I've had the same problems. I tried restarting my computer, lowering the graphics, everything, but it just keeps crashing.

What DX renderer version are you trying to run?

Based on my own experience, the combination of DA2 and Win7 will make "DX11" appear as an available option (since both game and OS have the code enabled.) But your ATI card is only capable of DX10.1, so it will choke when presented with DX11 commands is can't execute.
