Say for those of you who have used dark channel in the sp game I have a question.
The description says if the target dies and there is some duration left, it will hop to a nearby foe.
So hypothetical situation, could you hit an enemy with dark channel, then detonate a biotic explosion on that foe killing it, will the dark channel just hop to another foe allowing you to then immediately detonate another be on *that* foe? and in this fashion can you just chain be's one after the next?
Also, I'm assuming that it has a visual efect like warp, reave, etc so you can see which foe it hops to if/when it hops from foe to foe?
Don't have the dlc and don't plan to buy it but interested how dark channel + be's work now that it's coming to mp.

That's exactly how it works. You cast it on Target A, detonate Target A, dark channel hops to Target B, you can then detonate Target B, and it'll hop to Target C. Target C can then be detonated. You can continue this chain until either a) duration runs out, or
no enemy is within range of the 'hop'.

There is some gameplay of it in action.
Just note it can only be detonated one time on each target like a standard biotic combo but when it changes targets you can detonate it again. The DoT will still be in effect after detonation as well.
