 I find that playing Silver is way too easy but when I go to Gold it can be way too hard at times. Why does it seem to be a giant leap in difficulty from Silver to Gold?  

I only ask because I like the challenge but why does it feel this way, will this happen again when I make the leap to Platinum than go back to Gold?

Platinum's difficulty will seemingly come from having all factions being fought at once, and bosses being fought from wave 1.

So I hope you like killing Phantoms.
