Just "keep doing what you're doing but now do it X times" is not so much fun but the "here is the status quo but we're changing it for the weekend" events are a lot more entertaining.

We have run a number of events now and thought it might be fun if you shared your favourite moment.
The one stipulation is it has to have occurred during the event (no pre or post event moments)
Which event was it and what made it memorable?
Cheers
hum...when I carryed the whole team trough a gold reaper match with 15 revives medal

1) Helping friends who aren't regular Gold players breeze through Gold. They're good, but I think this weekend helped convince them that they're ready to put Silver behind. I was glad to help them see that it's not such a scary world. Hahah.
2) Getting into a TOTALLY RANDOM lobby against Reapers and playing perhaps 5 (maybe more?) games in a row with the same people! The leader just kept changing the map after each match and everybody would simply ready up... which, to me, is a sure sign that everyone was satisfied with their team mates and had fun. It was just amazing to me that a bunch of randoms could come together against Reapers and just be great. It doesn't happen often that I get match to a lobby as good as that.

I really liked Operation Savage. It lead to some going out of their comfort zone in terms of character choice but, more importantly, lead to some amusing teams. I had quite a number of very entertaining games during the event both with friends and randoms.
Oh yeah, that's true.
That operation made me break out of my comfort zone and discover that I quite like playing the Batarian Soldier (thanks to RedJohn's tips).

Basically every time we survived vs those banshees it was great. We really had to use teamwork and it felt like a community, more than before.
Also the top of my left thumb ( the one that pushes the left joystick forward on my xbox controller ) is sore from pressing it to run from the banshees!

All Krogan squad vs. Reapers on Hydra. Not only did we dominate, but we made sure to gather in a circle between each round for a headbutt party. Twas fun!

Probably the single best event moment was this last weekend. I wrote a thread about it yesterday, which can be seen here.
The short version is that my wife and I were playing together, and on Wave 8 of FBD/R/G, she ended up as the last character standing. Feeling too stressed about soloing a wave (this was her first weekend ever playing Gold), she tossed the controller over to me. Soloing a wave is always a coin-flip for me. I get killed quickly as often, or more often, as I'm able to solo a late round wave. But I had one of those gloriously dialed in gamer moments where everything just went perfectly. Finished the wave and tossed the controller back to her. It had be be seriously disorienting for the observing randoms to see this character, who had been struggling, suddenly break out like a boss for a few minutes, then go right back to how she had been playing.
lol, did you have mic's on. If you did not then you are right they would be saying wtf????

Then, of course, there was this match. The endless stream of jokes and puns that followed reminded me why I play with the crew I do. Not only are they skilled, but their sense of humor makes them so much more fun to play with than the try-hards who rock at the game, but suck at conversation.
