Savage without a doubt. It was nice to get into a match that wasn't 3/4 Geth for a weekend.

Operation Savage. Nothing in particular stands out, but the "savage" races are my favorite non-humans and being encouraged to play a full game of Krogans, Batarians and Vorcha was awesome. I personally hope for more challenges like that where the objective isn't difficult (Reapers on Gold anyone? I can't be the only Bronze/Silver player here!) and is more entertaining rather than trivial (promoting 2 or 3 classes?).

During Operation Savage, random Bronze game on Glacier with two other Krogan and a Vorcha. Without a word spoken between us, the other two Krogan and myself launched into a headbutting, krogan-charging melee slaughter while the poor Vorcha looked on in envy.

One of my favorite scenarios was this event. We had
a newer player with just a little experience on FBWGG.
Playing a quarian engineer. Others were reave offensive
bubble asari, salarian engineer, and a damage cloak infiltrator.
The quarian and one other PUG needed a gold reaper completion...

So of course, we do FBWRG! Really noisy (so, so much
close proximity banshee screaming), 2 carry the object
missions, plus a zone defense mission in the initial LZ area.
Fast, lots of fun, with a full extraction.

Reapers are my favorite on any mission. A reaper gold
community mission was quite fun.

Having unlocked my Vorcha Soldier a day or two before the Krogan/Batarian/Vorcha only event...
Great way to put him to the test...

Favourite moment: Seeing my vorcha starting a Bloodlust, and of course getting immobile and out of cover, while under heavy fire... But I managed to sidestep (the Vorcha way...) out of the way with only one or two red bar of life...

PS:
These events are fun, but in public, kicking someone because he is not a Vorcha/Batarian/Krogan is less than fun (for him and for me)...

Savage. It's fun to do ones that involve doing something you don't normally do, but would enjoy for a change.

E.g.

Promoting: not fun, if I wanted to do it, I'd have done it already.
Killing enemies of type X: I play all three factions already (though some don't; fun for them maybe)
Extracting on X: do that a lot already

OTOH, playing as a Krogan, Batarian, Vorcha ... not so much. Was fun to do.

Other ideas:

Operation Grunt: Extract as a soldier using an assault rifle (two things that get no love)
Operation Boom Boom: Extract as a team of 4 adepts (any type)
Operation Helping Hand: Full extraction with NO use of medigels. Must revive your teammates if they go down!
Operation Hold The Line: Survive wave 3 on Platinum.
Operation Bad Joke: A Male Human Soldier, a Female Human Infiltrator, a Male Quarian Infiltrator and a Female Quarian Engineer walk into a bar ... and extract on Silver.

Maybe not the last one :P

Anything that doesn't involve playing on gold. Lobbies become horrible. Bad times for everyone involved.

Yeah, a friend of mine -- fairly new to Gold -- had terrible luck with lobbies this weekend, playing about 20 games without extraction.  I jumped into a few with him but couldn't get him past wave 10.  Poor lobbies and I'm not good enough to carry more than a wave or two.

Anyhow, my favorite moment was my first (ever) Gold game during Exorcist.  FBW/C/G with my asari adept.  Jumped into the lobby and told the three GI's that it was my first time in Gold.  For some reason they didn't mind. ;o)  Long story short, held my own, killed phantoms and we got full extraction.

Not far behind were a series of all-krogan games during Savage.

So much this. I absolutely detest kicking people but I saw so many sub 120 N7 AA's rocking Avengers that I just started spamming kick player.

Definitely Operation Savage. My favorite character is the vorcha sentinel & watching this event w/ krogan, vorcha & batarian running all over the place made me feel like I was part of one of the criminal organizations.

One of the groups I formed with some friends was 1 krogan & 3 vorcha and we pretty much rolled under bloodpack colors and tore everything apart.

Operation Savage was the best since it forced me to play races I was not comfortable with (because they usually were races for classes I seldom played), and it made me get some new and fun experiences.

Worst is by far Broadside. I don't like Operations doomed to fail, and the entire community not knowing WHEN it ends and many not knowing that FULL extractions were not required, is just poor planning all together.

400 000 extractions is a lot. 400 000 extractions against a specific factions that must be with an entire squad with a hazy time-limit is... uh, yeah, that's just doomed to fail and it just annoys me. The personal goal was all nice and well, but that Allied goal was horrid.

Operation Savage. 4 Krogan meleeing and heabutting everything in sight. Definitely not the smartest game, but definitely one of the funiest. I think none of use died as well. Testosterone boost +9000 ^_^

Learning I am almost carry-capable in gold. Helped a lot of bronze/silver friends and randoms finish the squad goal this weekend. I needed a carry the last time we had a gold goal.

Also, after getting a good rhythm down for golding against reapers, our group dumbed it down to silver and got full extractions with outrageous gameplay, like scanning a banshee, whittling it down, and insisting that our human engineer finish it off with melee.

Constantly.

Honestly, this one, Broadside. I apologize in advance for this, but I no longer fear the Reapers.

I thought my Claymore builds were only effective against Cerberus, but now I know that they can tear those mutant jackwagons apart easily, and now I prefer facing Reapers on Gold as opposed to Cerbs and Geth.

This weekend, on wave 11. Running to the LZ onFBW no Banshees in site, we left 2 down in the hold out room. with 15 seconds left  hearing a squadmate yelling "I've never gotten a full extraction on Gold before"

When I got a N7 weapon in both packs and one of them was a Hurricane.

Everything else is a disappointment in comparison because
a) no more Hurricane for me which is the only weapon of the 4 I actually use and
B) only 1 weapon per event and they are far too rare

the operation were they mixed banshees in the matches was great, not very usefull since most of the time killing the banshees with a rocket was the easiest thing to do, but it was nice adding variety to the enemies

The part during the event in which no one does it because PS3 doesn't have a MP splash screen.

Definitely the weekend we played Krogans, Vorcha and Batarians. Loads of fun, especially when you get an all Krogan group headbutting FTW!

Also I remember when we had a Krogan, Vorcha and Batarian all meleeing a single Prime!

Any moment that wasn't trying to pull some of my friends with less gear and experience than I have through Reapers on Gold.

In all seriousness, Savage was the best event we've had so far. I spent most of the weekend playing the appropriate races and dropping into public lobbies to help out. I got into one lobby that ran for several games with rotating slots of people while I experimented with what weapon best suited my Vorcha Soldier. I think I secured at least 10 people their commendation packs before I had to leave for the evening. It made me feel really good to help so many people directly without having to exert too much excess effort.

I really liked this most recent weekend challenge, and here is why:

The community was given at least two separate starting times, and the community was given at least two separate ending times. People flooded the forums with questions like "Which time is real?" and while bioware staff were posting in those time-frames, no staff ever said "this is the real time" or even said something like "that's odd, let me ask and I'll get back to you."

I also liked the part where the objective for 400k extractions was given at the start of the week, and people asked whether that was full or partial extractions for the whole week, and there was only an answer provided when already well into the challenge timeframe, and in order to see the answer players had to come to this website, and it was not provided in any in-game splashscreen.

Overall, I like it when the goals are unclear to begin with, and then people come along and muddy up the water even more. Do more of that, please.

I really have to say that my favorite event moment was this weekend. The whole weekend; I met some really cool players. We laughed about the Banshees wanting my money and that I'm their 'Baby Daddy' and that's why they kept chasing me.

It also pushed me into playing Gold. All in all I loved this weekends event!

Actually, my favorite string of games were from Saturday night. The first was to be my "last" game of the night.

I joined up in a gold reapers lobby and met up with a group of 13 - 15 yr old kids, with N7 ranks of 68, 110something, and 130something. I asked them if they had completed the squad goal yet, and they said they hadn't, so I decided to help them, and they said they'd be really grateful if I could somehow.

They weren't terrible, but they weren't very good either. They at least listened to some advice when I had some to give. We did okay, but I had to either revive or solo a lot (I was using a Turian Sentinel, so magnet grabs were always on my mind). We wiped on wave 8 that game, and the next game. They said that wave 8 was "cursed" and that they had never gotten past it.

Every game we wiped, I told them, "Okay, let's try one more time." I decided to play GI, just in case I had to solo, just to make it easier. We chose Giant because it was one of the more easily defensible maps. As we started, one said, "OMG I'm so sleepy. It's 7:30 AM" They were obviously East Coasters.

I asked, "How long have you been playing for?"

Sounding like he was almost in tears, "We've been playing since 7:30, so we've been playing Reapers Gold for 12 hours...."

o m g

Well, everything went more smoothly that game. They defended inside the 2nd floor building against the intruding Banshees pretty well. I did my best to rape spawn and kill everything which was encroaching and assisting with the Banshees when needed.

At wave 9, they were pumped! They exclaimed "OMG we've never gotten to wave 9 before! This is the first time" Ahh so cute.

I just told them to keep on doing what they were doing and that they were kicking butt.

Wave 10 was kill targets, I believe. I was already celebrating. I used the last of my missiles because they could only carry 1 or 2 each, and we made it to the extraction wave!

Extraction was intense, and they were screaming "OMG OMG!" as the banshees and everything poured in, not unlike the other waves. And at 20 sec, we all made a dash to the extraction. They trucked through the middle, I ran around to the ladder. One of them and myself got to the extraction zone and survived, enough to get the commendation pack. What an sense of relief as the timer ticked down the last few intense seconds of cluster ****g mayhem.

After the game, they were so exhausted and happy. I told them they did a great job and to enjoy their Eagles on Tuesday.

It was actually probably the most fun I've had playing the game for some reason.

Good times.

Awww. That's a great story. :)

And wow, those kids have got some stamina! 12 hours of ME3 MP! That's insane.

I guess my moment was when I soloed bronze during the Salvage weekend. That was pretty awesome since it was my first solo run. :)

I was using my vorcha Sentinel and it was against the reapers.
