From the reaction in the forum last week, I already knew we would fail the Allied goal--what with numerous threads like "please help a silver/bronze player win gold challenge" or " tips for silver/bronze players for this weekend challenge?"

I had planned on helping out by speedrunning through bronze, but I changed my mind. It's not worth my time if the silver/bronze players are only concerned about getting the squad goal, even if it takes them 20 failed attempts--all time wasted when they could be working on the Allied goal. It's called being selfish. Well I can be selfish too. I finished my squad goal on the first attempt with randoms and quit for the weekend.

I can confirm this. Saw it as well.

They just posted it too early. It was probably pre-written and Jessica just jumped the gun.

They were never going to increase the medigel cap.

It was fixed. The number needed was too high.

If we couldn't kill 4 million Banshees how the heck were we supposed to manage 400,000 FULL extractions against the Reapers?

Part of the problem was likely the conflicting reports of when the event ended. The blog said 4 am pst monday while the annoucements here said 10 am pst sunday. Honestly that is a large amount of time to lose for an event if people just stopped playing the matches towards it.

What this Operation teaches me is how majority of the ME3 Multplayer community cannot beat gold unless it's FBW/G/G lol. I wonder how many of the BSN users are gonna lie about beating platinum.

If you were to really need *one* additional Medi-gel something is wrong. Either the team is too incompetent to revive or you're gettin into too many close situations that cause you to die

Desperate amount of confusion around htis event, when did it stop, most of us knew Monday but no one would believe me in PUGS, then in Bronze we had a lot of gold players who thought only one needed to extract, once again I said no, check the forum or bioware's website, even had a few cuss at me so I just went solo until friends were on then did silver.

At the same time I do not feel 400,000 was possible considering we failed the reeper event, do the math, how many Banshee's are in a match, times that by 400,000......not possible, IMHO and there was only so many bronzo solo games one can handle

Only extracted once as solo rjust to get an eagle rest were wave 10 wipes because I prefer credits than a crappy event

Me and friend on ps3 was doing gold runs with randoms (And a missile glitcher) think most was full extractions (5 games).
