 It was on my mind for quite a while and I keep wondering, why there is so many people on the forums, that dislike Joker? I admit, that I find him somewhat annoying at times, but still funny and interesting character. I was reading through quite few topics on those forums and realised many people hating Jeff Moreau and no one is ever trying to defend him. So...

Why do You hate Joker?

I like Joker, didn't like that romance arch with EDI though, could never take it seriously, should have just left that joke in ME2 tbh. What are people's main complaint with him since I've never checked out some of those threads?

There was no actual "hate threads", more like posts in some topics. I've noticed quite few, hence the thread and a question to the community.

I don't hate him at all, but some people hold a grudge because they blame him for getting Shep killed in ME2.

Really? People failed to notice the big old collector ship shooting at you huh and that Shep was just doing what any commanding officer would do in the first place, make sure not to leave any of his/her squad behind. This is a pretty lame grudge to hold:huh: No doubt survivor's guilt ate away at him when Shep died anyway:whistle:

Nah, there used to be hate for Joker because the original endings made it seem like he was running away from the fight like a coward and stealing your crew while Shepard was out there risking his/her life.

I think that the EC made him much more likeable as we now see that he nearly teared up just at the thought of leaving Shepard behind and almost disobeyed the order to rendezvous with the fleet.

The reasoning seems to be if it wasn't for Joker being stubborn staying behind, Shp would have made it into an escape pod.

I like the guy no end, i certainly never bought into any role he might've played in Sheps demise in ME2, he was just doing what Joker would do, try his damndest to get his ship on the ground, & failing that, giving "his" crew as much time as he could buy them by staying at the helm & going down with the ship if need be.
