I have searched and searched for a solution to my problem but i havn't found any, what is happening is right after the ambush where you get Zevran it freezes, as soon as we're done talking and you pick your party, while picking my party i can deselect members but i can't add them no matter how many times i click on them, and after i press accept it freezes, nothing else happens. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and that didn't work. The whole game has worked fine all the up until that point, no lagging, or anything, i have done this ambush at least 5 times without any signs of it changing.

If you have any third party mods installed, that could be it. Otherwise, it could also be a corrupted video driver. You could try doing a clean uninstall/reinstall with the latest drivers; there's a "how-to" linked in my sig below.

Beyond that, we'll probably need to look at hardware and software specs, so you'll have to provide the information outlined in the "Read First" thread pinned near the top of the forums.

sorry i should have added that earlier, also it says that its version 1.04 but i was sure i installed the newest update, maybe i did something wrong there. I have no mods installed at all.

Given the entry level mobile graphics chip you're using, your best best is to lower both graphics resolutions and texture detail. I still think a clean uninstall/reinstall of the driver might be in order.

i turned all of the graphics to low and attempted the ambush again, it still freezes so i'm going to try the clean uninstall/reinstall, hopefully that fixes the problem

Also, before i go ahead and do that, i just had a couple questions, will it delete everything on my computer? and will it mess anything up?

A display driver reinstallation?  No.  You should download the newest driver for your machine first, however, since you won't be able to get online in safe mode.

alright thank you, just one more thing, do i have to delete my saved file as well to do the clean uninstall/install properly or am i able to keep it?

Alright, I will try the clean uninstall tomorrow and let you know if it fixed the problem, thank you for answering my questions too.
