So I'll be at work for the next 7.5 hours, and will be working most of the day tomorrow as well. Therefore I'll be subjected to the scores of threads popping up here throughout the day covering every conceivable DLC topic in real time--new maps, weapons, characters, gear, mixed factions, Platinum--and be unable to take part. It will be something akin to being stuck in the West Edmonton Mall for half a day without one's wallet.

My job isn't taxing, as I normally spend most of my time perusing the BSN, reading news or a book, or walking down corridors repeatedly and aimlessly (I work for the state government). But dammit, I really wish I were just home to take this very exciting expansion of ME3MP in. By the time I get home it will be 1:30 on the East Coast so most people I play with will be winding down, and my troll modem/EA servers will probably disrupt my credit grinding anyway.

Is anyone else a part of this unfortunate illustrious club? Are you stuck at a paying job when you would much rather be at home on a video game console? Please, join me in QQing and commiseration.

I WOULD be part of this club, but due to a certain gigantic fire in a certain state in the U.S., I did not get paid for 1 week because of the building possibly being on fire. As such, I couldn't pay my internets bill and it was just shut off today. I can turn it back on Friday. Ultimate hatreds.

I too will be on the East Coast in TJ Maxx, checking people out, standing in the fitting room as time ticks away slowly, or in the back room processing new stuff while i think about this new DLC! >.<

Do you mean checking people out in both senses? Are TJ Maxx customers hawt?

Also, I actually live on the West Coast, but for some reason most people I play with live on the East Coast. Or in Europe or Australia. Not sure why I know so few people on the Pacific Coast.

Colorado actually. Everything turned out to be pretty good except for the lack of a week's pay. I didn't lose my house, which is more than can be said for 350 something other families.

I shouted it into the phone jack. 

I'm at work right now, doing overtime to help cover my bills. The building thankfully didn't burn down, but it was closed for two weeks while they cleaned out the smoke damage and what not.

I'm in Ireland, so it is 11 o'clock at night here now (nearly) Going to sleep soon, then up at 7 for 8 hours of work. I don't even know if the DLC will be there to download when I get home tomorrow evening. As with any DLC, I just turn on my XBox & if it's there, it's there. If it's not, then meh  

Anyway, I haven't got enough credits to even buy a Veteran Pack at the moment, so I need play some matches & get some credits before I can even try to get a new character

No not really, it's typically older woman and because I'd prefer somebody, um, closer to my age and not a woman, so just in the register sense!
