Tali calls for the systematic destruction of the Geth (a properly peaceful race who can't understand why their own creators want to destroy them) in ME1-2 before meeting Legion. Why isn't she called out for being 'racist'?

While Ash - who states realistically that humanity is never going to be more important that other species own members if/and especially when something went to hell - and come ME3, turns out to be completely correct in these views?

Because we spent Mass Effect 1 gunning the Geth down by the truckload. They're also strictly synthetics. I saw plenty of "omg tali iz racist" once people got attached to Legion and BioWare's force-feeding of Geth sympathy in Mass Effect 3. See; all the posts going on about Quarians being genocidal baby eaters who deserve everything they get.

Yeah, ok. I accept that. Yet Ash's bashing has contiuned. Even when she's been proven correct, Why?
And her Cerberus thing? She mentions that once during the hospital then happily accepts that you've completely cut ties. Given her circumstances, her objections and hesistation are completely reasonable. Why is bashing still going on?

Well, in ME1-2 before we meet Legion, there was no indication that the Geth were not just intelligent robots who, at that time, wanted to kill all organics they saw. There was no indication that they were "a properly peaceful race who can't understand why their own creators want to destroy them" until we meet Legion.

As for Ash? Well, I don't know the charcater well enough to comment much, but I'm pretty sure that that one comment is not the only reason why someone might call her racist. Or at least "unfriendly".

Everyone hates the geth. Javik hates the geth, Garrus hates the geth, Kaidan hates the geth. It is in no way a strange or minority opinion.

As for the Ashley argument, I'm not touching that one with a 10-foot pole. It never ends well.

I think it's funnier that Tali swiped the Normandy drive core specs and outfitted a quarian ship with it. Always got yer back, eh Shep?

After Consensus you can´t deny that it was Quarians which made mistake by attacking geths and I can´t help myself but they are again heading into ****s because of their stupidity, despite that geths start loosing with magic ... check it out ...

The Quarians as a whole are morons. Prior to even meeting Legion if you do Tali's mission beforehand, it's pretty much unanimous that a war with the geth would be suicide.

BUT HEY LETS DO IT ANYWAY

Because it's an excuse for not not liking her. Most people would apparently rather have a "yes" saying follower than a person like Ashley that has her own opinions and knows how to use the word "no" once in a while.

Well, Quarians wanted to get their homeworld back. Just imagine yourself on their place. :) And of course they want to destroy enemy that invade soil of their Motherland, of their home, land of their ancestors. I think I will do the same if I were Quarian, even if that's suicide. And of course there is big reason to hating them for Tali, and I can understand it very well.

In my first ME1 playthrough Tali freaked me out with her attitude towards the geth. Her logic about killing them so they wouldn't be slaves made no sense. So yeah I thought she was racist.

As for Ashley it did irk me when she was being mean to Liara. But since seeing the the Liara/Ashley confrontation thing (if BroShep flirts with both of them) I'm starting to think Liara antagonises Ashley on purpose. Most of my Shepards shout at Ashley for distrusting aliens but since playing as a not so trusting Shepard and actually listening to her concerns I think they're valid. She never says anything that's actually racist just some stuff that's misinterpreted. Tali, Wrex and Garrus have made comments that are far more racist than anything Ashley has ever said.

Because the geth are (supposedly) not a ‘properly peaceful race’. The only geth she knows are the ones who (supposedly) stole their homeworld, and the ones that are attacking you at every turn.

Never going to be more important? Iffy. Never going to be equal? Less so.
