Yeah I'm at 2850, and the same with me.  I do want to hit 3,000 though as a personal goal.

I wanted to be in the top 100, on XBOX, but  I have now realized that there a lot more people with a lot more time, and a lot more patience.  It's not going to happen.

I'm almost at 6000. I'm ridiculous. I like promoting. I guarantee, however, it's not as ridiculous as posting threads about high N7 ratings that we all agree means nothing. Well except to peeps who post these ridiculous threads I guess.

Prior to the recent Reinforcement Pack changes, character cards would drop at an insane rate. If you weren't promoting, you were getting very little bang for your buck.

These days I actually have to play Vanguard to get to level 20.

Just because you have a high N7 doesn't mean that the drops from the store packages have been kind to you. :\\ I've put a ton of hours into multiplayer; I play Gold and Silver exclusively, and yet, the weapons that I actually want (and nearly all of the DLC classes) just refuse to drop for me from the packs.

Anyone else noticed there seems to be a lot of people who are only lvl'ing N7 for some reason. I have never seen this sort of thing before and now it's all I see in multiplayer for some reason.

Edit: There's a lot more then just these 2 but these are the two examples I posted. If it was only those two guys I wouldn't bother making a topic about it.

I'm almost at 1700.  It's just a matter of doing a lot of promoting, leveling up and playing often.

Played a match with someone that had over 900 today, and this was on my GFs account to help her out since she is only an N7 18.. I expected for him to do extremely well, but his performance was underwhelming. People have been promoting I guess, I am sure its a lot of the new players.

The store is random. i didnt get my first N7 Widow until almost 1800 (Current7000+). I dont play anything other than gold unless it is requiredfor a weekend challenge. I find it more challenging to play with a level 1 on gold then with a level 20. in fact, i never play with a level 20,i promote right away.Sometimes i get kicked when i play with randoms, sometimes i dont. I have a group of friends that do the same. Your N7 rating means nothing, other than you promote a lot. The store has changed, so no more 250K character cards. It is a lot slower to promote because of that.

A guy I know is creeping toward 2k & still doesn't have most rares maxed.
He hates farming & pisses most of his equipment out during matches so he ends up blowing what he does make on jep's.

Yea I don't get it either but hey to each his own & all that.

And I can play single player and not have to collect war assets, just do the main story. Was the main reason I started playing multiplayer although I quickly became an addict. Started a new game the other day and checked my T/EMS: 12790. :happy:

Ohhh... that would be from purchasing recruit packs rather than premium spectre packs... I would guess anyways.
