I'd say the fact of you posting this on a public forum on the Internet is evidence that you are not a coward.

Remember to be positive, for not making a move you spared yourself from bogus sexual harassment charges, especially if you had started the conversation with any kind of compliment.

To be fair, a few of those people were being douchey. And at least one went full on stalker.

But I agree that saying hello or good morning or politely complimenting someone isn't harassment, so long as it isn't followed up with snark, insults, or repeated attempts at engaging in conversation when the person doesn't respond.

Points out how boosting someone's ego on a 4 year old necro'd thread isn't going to help anyone.

Nah, he's still a coward, he didn't even use his real name when he told us his feelings.

So we can blame one Australian for all this trouble? Figures! Here I thought I could give valuable input to a fresh topic.

Bite the bullet bruh, thats all you gotta do.

Training in kickboxing, my teacher told me that it doesnt matter how good someone is in a ring sometimes if they havent had a real brawl on the streets. She said most people like me who do nothing but train in the gym and spar freeze up when it comes down to a real fight and all the years of training goes out the window. I didnt give it much thought. That is, until I got mugged by 2 guys. And boy did I freeze up. My mind went blank. I didnt think about my breathing, my footing, or anything I picked up. Then I remembered the last bit about that conversation my teacher gave me. She said in a real fight, when you find that you are one of those people who freeze up, the most IMPORTANT thing you need to focus on, is throwing the first punch. How cool you look doesnt matter. Technique doesnt matter. Connecting DOESNT matter.

All you have to do, is throw that first punch. And I did. I ended up 2 months in the ICU but the lesson stayed with me. It doesnt matter how far you get in the beginning, whats important is you START. Whats important is you DO.

Now winning over a lady's heart isnt exactly a direct translation to my brawl. In fact, for you getting beat up by 2 dudes for the $20 in your wallet and a gym membership is more doable than choking in front of a lady again. But thats ok. Everyone chokes sometimes. If you're ganna choke, then choke. Make the worst impression you could possibly make. At least you STARTED. And thats whats important. Doing is better than not doing, as you possibly realize now.

Today I was at a fast food restaurant. I saw a cute girl waiting for her order, as was I. I had a prime opportunity to introduce myself and talk to her. I had the perfect conversation in my head. She even looked at me.

But I said nothing. She took her food and left, never to be seen by me again. Afterwards, I felt like an empty shell of a person. I felt like nothing. I felt like whatever I possessed, whatever I accomplished in the past and currently am in the process of accomplishing now, and everything that was a part of me was not good enough.

Welcome to the losers club.

I have anxiety/shyness problem and when I speak to females if I say or hear something not like what I planned I sweat and become red. I guess I have to speak to my far future LI this way.

Kallen of the Black Knights, Q1. (This thread might get a little... Geass). It's a pleasure to find you here outside of your Guren MK. II.

And hey, in real life, admittedly, in a fight I somehow wasn't able to hit first because something told me not too and because of that it landed me with a black eye numerous times. I had to break past those chains and now I'm a stronger and better fighter. You have to break the chains that hold you back, no matter what, and those who are bold are the ones who have broken those chains.

A true coward is someone who flees form his or her duties. If you have a family and they fall on hard times and you flee, you're a coward. Because you got a little scared or didn't ask a girl out doesn't make you a coward. You were just too nervous and have yet to break those chains. You don't have to be a complete dare devil in life.

That said, you also want to be careful in life. Being too bold can land you in a heap of trouble.

Oh, I get it!

Travis had to metaphorically "die" so that TheBunz could be reborn in his place, with the strength and confidence to win all women (and a few men.)

Now, it all makes sense. BSN is The Matrix, people. We can figure this out if we work hard.
