So I'm getting a new gaming PC and will be, as a gamer, migrating from XBox to PC pretty much wholesale in the coming weeks. I got a free coupon for ME3 on PC and have a few questions:

-I would like to make sure my PC Shepard is a close to my XBox Shepard (who's career goes all the back to ME1 and has 100% completionist playthroughts) as possible. I know I can use Gibbed Save editor but is it possible to import an XBox ME2 game complete save into ME3 PC?

-What kind of options are availible in Gibbed save editor and what do you need to use it? (do you need an existing PC ME3 save, or can you create a new save with it?)

Also....

-My new PC has some freaking amazing hardware. What are the best mods to improve the look of ME3 graphically (lighting, textures, etc.), as I am confident my PC can max it and thensome.

I would have put this in the PC tech support forum but I'm not allowed to post there yet as my PC copy of ME3 has yet to be activated.

http://www.masseffect2saves.com/

The above website is full of save games from Mass Effect. You should hopefully be able to find one that is similar enough to your character (who lived, died, who was romanced etc). You can still change Shepard's face and class if the save is the same except for those.

If you want to improve the quality of the game graphics-wise, you can replace the current in-game textures with higher resolution versions. This requires the use of TexMod, a simple program that allows you to do this. You can find some hi-resolution textures here. The thread also contains many other graphics improvement features:

FXAA tool that comes with various graphics tweaks. This allows you to change the lighting, contrast, saturation, etc. to your liking.

3D Vision Fix is a patch that fixes 3D artifacts that occur when using 3D Vision with Mass Effect 3. Improves the immerive experience of 3D, but irrelevant if you are playing in 2D.

An alternate visual mod, ENB Cinema Mod modifies the atmosphere by changing the color pallette, allows film grain, and an enhanced anit-aliasing method.
