I have made my mod.

It works well.

I use the camp merchant to give the items to. He holds them ok except, I want the items to be worth 19g but one comes out being worth 536g, another 26g, none of them are 19g anyway.

Do I have to write a specific script to set the price or something, as in the cost part of the uti file I have set it to 190000 (which I think should = 19g).

I tried setting Variable 2da = merchant.
                         Variables -> properties -> Merchant is scaled = 1

This did not work either. Set it to 0, no difference. Set it to -1, no difference.

Any help appreciated.

I have the same problem. Made a bow with value (10000 Br = 100 S = 1G). Tried selling it before I became a grey warden. It was worth ~2,5 G, regarding that selling is at 25% it has to be 10 gold worth.

Merchants themselves have their own scaling values, and item properties affect the price. If you had an item granting +100 to all attributes and set the cost to 1 copper, hundreds of sovereigns would be added to that price in the game. I'm not sure where the data is held though.

In itemprps.xls.
There's a cost value which increases the item price, just like you said.
