Linked below is a poll asking the fanbase whether they would appreciate the possibility of victory through the refuse option, should EMS be high enough. Please vote, as this would truly solve one of the most pressing complaints of BSN, and Mass Effect fans everywhere.

Poll

EDIT: to fix what has been repeatedly pointed out to me as a petition for an unconventional victory with marketing problems.

I agree with you but bioware don't care about their fans anymore, they only care about their 'art'.

bioware will never make an ending better than their 'art'. at this point all you can do is headcanon

I voted "yes" because I originally expected EMS work exactly that way.

Now I am going to run before pro-enders tear this thread apart.

Sorry, I can't support anything that recognizes the starkid as "real".

We're not getting any more endings. I can sympathize with wanting this but I think its time to let it go. If they were going to give us one it would have been in the EC. All the ending stuff is done and over, I think its time for us to move on.

I found at least four quotes from game saying the Reapers cannot be defeat conventionaly (Hackett, EDI, Garrus, Liara), so how do you imagine this?

Well, fans made several topics about how bad Ashley's new armour looked like and then we got something decent.

There were also fans who made several topics how Shepard should show signs of stress and stuff, and we got nightmare kid and starbrat.

Some you win, some you lose.

On topic, there won't be more endings to ME3. It's just way too expensive.

This. Bioware showed us the exact extent of how far they were willing to go to change the game with the EC. Paid DLC being a different matter of course. Rebel Reaper, whut.

All the ending stuff is done and over, I think its time for us to move on.

Indeed!

TO SOVNGARDE!

Deal with it, or get over it. That's your options.

Bro, the story wasn't designed to have a conventional victory. While I'm not really a fan of 'Artistic Integrity', I also don't support the kind of pandering BioWare would have to do to make this possible.

Yup.
Deal with it: You accept it for what it is, and enjoy it as much you can.
Get over it: You forget about it, and move on.

That should be Bioware's new marketing slogan.

Yeah, maybe it would make some people stop their whining. If not, it surely would gain Bioware a lot of respect from the rest of the gaming community, who are sick and tired of listening to these self-proclaimed Mass Effect fans, and their constant complaining about the ending. It would be glorious. <3

Jeez, Brovikk, just say it's an awful idea and move on. No need to get in an argument over it.

oh yes, because a consumer based company saying "get the **** over it" ALWAYS goes over well with the customers. You know... the ones who pay the company's salaries?

Brovikk is the evil mirror universe version of an anti-ender.

He probably looks like me with a goatee Image IPB

At any rate, I voted for this, not because I think it's a realistic option or has a snowball's chance of actually coming true, but because the current endings we have are simply intolerable.

I don't know, many of these people are saying they're never going to buy another BW product ever again. Doesn't seem like that big of a loss to me.

Oh, I was supposed to move on. Moving on!

I'm half expecting DA3 to have your typical Hollywood ending, and then everyone says 'it's not original enough'.

No Crucible and Catalyst are not perfect, but is a conventional victory the way? I don't think so. It's just so... predictable. So groan-worthy.

They would have to change the whole game in order to make conventional victory a viable option. And no, the crucible blowing up all the reapers does not count as conventional victory.

what if all it did was strip their kinetic barriers?
