You're focusing on repeating "It magic", that is not a fact. Do I really need to reiterate that science fiction is usually existing sceince modifed with a bit of fictional physics to allow cool things to happen? They work within these confines to establish what is and isn't possible within said fictional universe. Any thing that is established to be possible with in fictional universe = science fiction, anything that isn't = magic.Again the rules in ME are established by magic with Mass Relays and Element Zero, which makes biotics into mages in ME's univrese. Its still magic even if its explained in the codex. I love how you're saying I'm thick based on how I'm focusing of the facts not opinion. Btw dragons aren't always based on magic, which is why you should give up with that straw-mann.Greylycantrope wrote...
Yes I know mass effect fields and biotics don't occur in reality. In Mass Effect however they have been established with fictional science. FICTIONAL SCIENCE, NOT DRAGONS OR MAGIC THEY ARE NOT ONE AND THE SAME. I hope I've been clear.

No you're focusing on your interpretation of things and how they translate to you as fact.
Opinion =/= fact.
You believe that everything in sci fi boils down to just magic with a different coat of paint. Rules of literature state otherwise, the fact that you refuse to see things outside of your interpretation does not make his argument wrong, it just makes your perspective very very limited.

I really don't see anything happening, or any hope for Mass Effect at this point. They already 'fixed' what they felt needed fixing in terms of compromise.

It's a rare element that essentially allows the manifulation of mass, mainly mass's effects on weight, no more no less.
Using dragons is a straw-mann for magic just like how golems can be magic or pure technology.Greylycantrope wrote...

just because its not in the real world doessn't mean its magic, in the Mass Effect universe it science, which makes itScience Fiction in our world, the Synthesis ending on the other hand completely shatters what Sci-Fi.

Manipulates Mass Effect fields.
You really need to stop, this is not achieving what you seem to think it is. Go read up on SF and fantasy and then read up on a lot of SF elements that now exist in the real world. Constantly repeating the same thing just indicates you don't know what you are talking about.

EDIT: Just realized I forgot one thing, should have also mentioned mass's effect on acceleration.

definitely better now that I've removed the conventional victory part. 7/10 for versus the 3/5 it was before. Don't really see how beating the reapers using a combination of cyberwarfare and hit and run tactics isn't conventional, but go figure.
if the Crucible was a Dark Energy weapon like 3D said things would be so much better

Edit: upon reflection, even if they did do this, a revision ending of an already revised ending is too late for it to feel good. By 'feel good' I mean having that great ending experience the first time you play through a game. For me games like Kotor and Dragon Age come to mind. It's time to let go.
