Merill hasn't killed anyone intentionally. Marethari's death was her own fault. And Isabella killed people out of self-preservation; as in killing the person who is trying to kill you.
But i'm not here to judge your preferences. I'm sure Gascard is a fine lad.

Gascard didn't kill much people- only one woman.
Isabela killed people who rting to protect themselves from her. You think she become a pirate to talk with people?
Isabela just want their money. Gascard kill one woman for knowledges. There is not much difference between them.

Ah okay. That makes sense as current Hawke is a sarcastic cow...
LOL Your poor Hawke! So mean ... yeah mine are always sarcastic, too, so Gascard can go f*** himself xD But supposedly if you DON'T do the ritual with him, you can find him after the mission and he is still there in Darktown. Fenris or Aveline can make him talk, and you can either let him go or kill him.

I know he's adorable and all that but most blood mages end up becoming crazy anyways as the Desire demon from the Exiled Prince DLC says, "I could create such desires as I wished, but it's far easier to nuture those that already exist."

Not Quentin. Gascard didn't have a dead wife that he want to return. I imagine him as cruel doctor who will work in name of progress. Who knows may be dr. Gascard will stay in next generations as first reanimator.PizzaThe Hutt wrote...
So wait, he's ok because he kills people for knowledge(Necromancy mind you) unlike most blood mages who kill for power... Though many people consider knowledge powerful so isn't DuPuis just as bad as any other blood mage? You do know that he could very well have become the next Quentin, yes?

But we have no opportunity to know what if he get these knowleges. So sad- I'd like to see that.

Who would want to become Mrs DuPuis? Especially if you already have a cool name like Hawke.
As a real life former Miss DuPuis this makes me a sad panda.
Regardless, I totally see the hotness in Gascard. It's those wolfy eyes. Every time I replay and Hawke points out that his behavior is suspicious and he says "I suppose that's fair" I'm surprised all over again at how level-headed he is. You know, for a power-hungry potential sociopath.
Still, definitely got the smolder.

Naw, I meant I was actually born with the last name DuPuis. In real ife. Then I got married. The person I quoted was saying it would be silly to want to marry Gascard and become Mrs. DuPuis when you already had a cool last name like Hawke. So as a DuPuis I was teasing back.ladyofpayne wrote...
