Purchase issues in Multiplayer store

I'm sure I'm not the only one dealing with this issue but almost every time I try to make a purchase through the multiplayer store, whether it's with in game credits or BioWare points, I get charged for the purchase and then the store times out on me in the process of redeeming the pack I bought.

I have had to call EA support multiple times to have points refunded to me (since I used my own money to purchase those) that were lost in the process of trying to buy spectre packs.  I have also lost a few hundred thousand in-game credits due to this issue over the last few months.  I was informed, today, that this is the last time I can have points refunded to me, so what happens the next time a purchase doesn't go through?  That's actual money out of my pocket.  Am I supposed to grin and bear it?  The only reason I had switched from in-game credits to BioWare points is because, at that time, that was the only sure fire way to have a purchase go through without losing the multiplayer pack I was trying to buy.

Before you ask, no I don't have connection issues anywhere else in the game.  I don't time out in the middle of multiplayer sessions or when I'm tweaking my character with new weapons, mods, armor colors, etc.  I only time out and get kicked from the EA server when I'm trying to complete a store purchase and receive my pack, no matter which form of currency I'm trying to use.

The patch did not fix the issue.  It's still there.  The store still charges for purchases that do not go through and the items are not sitting in the character inventory.  Believe me, I've checked after every failed purchase with game credits or BioWare points.  I was so excited with the new Earth DLC to possibly unlock a new class or weapon and now I've pretty much been told not to touch my BioWare points because of this issue since they can no longer refund them.  That means I just wasted money on something I can't use because I'm afraid of losing it.

I hope a fix is soon in coming.  Either that or I want my money that I spent on points refunded so I can spend it elsewhere.  The only high point of this whole situation is that the people at the EA Technical Support call center are a wonderful group of individuals to speak with and actually take time to listen to the matter.  Luckily the gentleman I spoke with today explained that the only way to get the notice of a developer was to post here - otherwise once a ticket is closed, it goes nowhere, so no one but tech support ever learns of the problem.  He wanted to help me make sure that others are aware that this issue still exists.

I don't think a fix will be coming at any point for the rest of this year. The game's been getting progressively worse with every DLC they pump out and it's probably becoming too large of a task for them to work on. So like a certain other company, the only way to "fix" these issues is to give us more content to we can keep trying to play this somewhat broken game just to test out new classes and weapons and take our minds off the fact that there are disconnects and CTDs galore.

I am going to sue them in small-claims court. They have stolen from me for the last time. I paid money for a good and did not receive it - that is theft. If it is an ongoing situation that the company is aware of yet refuses to address or rectify, that is fraud. If you are interested in perhaps going in on a class-action lawsuit, drop me a line. I am dead serious here, this is a matter of principle.
