My review about platinum:


It's hard, but it has a weakness: too many bosses.

Now you will ask me "how the hell could that be a weakness?", Well, it's pretty easy to explain actually, you only have to run in circles because bosses don't have the fire rate of normal mobs, the only problematic enemy in big amounts are phantoms, if you play against cerberus you should take an anti-phantom character, because they will kill you very fast, in my case I choose Geth Glacier, so what I had was lot of pyros instead of phantoms, but phantoms were there, but not in a great big amount, nothing that couldn't be handle.

My build was my normal build.

I got Delivery, Delivery and Hack.

Hack is a nightmare, so, if you are going to solo platinum you should go with Cyclonic modulator IV or Infiltrator, in my case it wasn't either of both, I was using Power Amp IV, Assault Rifle Amp III, Granade capacity and Incendiary ammo IV with Harrier X.

Another thing: Wave 1 = gold Wave 10 and Wave 2 is easier than wave 1, but from 
wave  3 could mean death, it was really hard but doable.

This was my 3rd attempt, the first one was with Human Vanguard but wiped in wave 3 with the 4 devices objective, the second was with N7 Slayer, until wave 8, and then this one.


PS: I did another run in 35 minutes in that map, also another run with the new Vanguard in White with was 54 minutes, I don't have pictures or video about both of them.

Well done. I figured it wouldn't take people long on any difficulty. Good to know about the spawn types for character choice going into the game to help plan out the approach.

Yeah my first game with my usual buddies went very smoothly, we got full extraction on first try.

The large amount of "bosses" is much easier to manage than a swarm of mooks from gold.

I just did a try, got to wave 10 on my first go (ran out of time on a target objective with no missiles though.  I kept getting target objectives, and apparently they're always Atlasses now >_<).

With a coordinated team it's a cakewalk.  Anywho, GJ Redjohn

I used 1 on wave 6, 2 on wave 9, and the other 2 in extraction wave.

Probably, i don't know yet , First I have to be sure that I could solo platinum with every class and character, and then the challenges will begin.

I had a feeling that Platinum on some level would be easier than Gold because of more bosses. I usually get killed by a Maruader or Cannibal or alternate enemies of that level on Gold. Bosses rarely kill me, except the Phantom or I get Instakilled by one. With a good team I think Platinum might end up being easier than Gold if its more bosses

On a side note : I solo'd Bronze once dont think I can do higher than that LOL congrats to the skilled players who can
