ive beat it in a team but wouldnt dream of soloing ive only managed a few solo gold run's using GI/kroguard and Justicar.. our fastest time with full extract on platenham so far is 27 mins.. the problem were having is the objectives are no longer predictable and easy. worse when you get escort on the higher waves..

congrats to redjohn & bahroo for soloing already once i get some better weapons unlocked ill maybe try it but im not expecting to get past it for a good few months lol

My review about platinum:


It's hard, but it has a weakness: too many bosses.

Now you will ask me "how the hell could that be a weakness?", Well, it's pretty easy to explain actually, you only have to run in circles because bosses don't have the fire rate of normal mobs, the only problematic enemy in big amounts are phantoms, if you play against cerberus you should take an anti-phantom character, because they will kill you very fast, in my case I choose Geth Glacier, so what I had was lot of pyros instead of phantoms, but phantoms were there, but not in a great big amount, nothing that couldn't be handle.

My build was my normal build.

I got Delivery, Delivery and Hack.

Hack is a nightmare, so, if you are going to solo platinum you should go with Cyclonic modulator IV or Infiltrator, in my case it wasn't either of both, I was using Power Amp IV, Assault Rifle Amp III, Granade capacity and Incendiary ammo IV with Harrier X.

Another thing: Wave 1 = gold Wave 10 and Wave 2 is easier than wave 1, but from 
wave  3 could mean death, it was really hard but doable.

This was my 3rd attempt, the first one was with Human Vanguard but wiped in wave 3 with the 4 devices objective, the second was with N7 Slayer, until wave 8, and then this one.


PS: I did another run in 35 minutes in that map, also another run with the new Vanguard in White with was 54 minutes, I don't have pictures or video about both of them.

Well that would be nice. I am not really interested in a platinum run though. I want to see that batarian in action. Supposedly, it clears gold as fast as the GI.

Actually, it can do it in the right hands.

The only way GI can clear faster than Batarian Soldier is using maximum melee, because in that way can kill a phantom a phantom in 2 pulses. 

But with that style you can easily get killed, but of course, depend on when and how do you use it.
