I seem to have a problem. When I start up Mass Effect 3 on PC I get this message:
Error - An online pass is required to access online features of the game. Because of this error I can't connect to the multiplayer lobby and when I try to start the singleplayer I get this message of unauthorized single player DLC and I can't load any saves except if I start a new game. I don't understand what happened. It was working fine yesterday.
Is this a server issue? Please help.

For these types of issues, it is best if you e-mail ME3AccountAdmin@BioWare.com to verify your account status. One thing to note: Being banned from MP will not ban you from any SP content.

For these types of issues, it is best if you e-mail ME3AccountsAdmin@BioWare.com to verify your account status. One thing to note: Being banned from MP will not ban you from any SP content.

Strange I got the same type of message. I will write to ME3AccountsAdmin@BioWare.com, please tell me what answer u got... Hope that is some kind of DLC issue, and will be fixed...

I have not received a reply yet, but I contacted EA Support and they told me I've been permanently banned for misconduct which is BS. I can't access single player or multiplayer anymore. When I asked EA Support what was my misconduct they didn't want or didn't know what to tell me. I asked how can I get unbanned and they told me to BUY A NEW VERSION OF MASS EFFECT 3! Like that is ever going to happen... greedy EA. I'm starting to regret ever buying this game in the 1st place. I've had problems with connectivity in the past on multiplayer and I got ocassional "can't authorize DLC" messages, but to not even be able to load a single player savegame? that's just too much trouble to cop with it, more so for a game.

Omg... I hope that to both of us it will be fixed soon. I do not have much time to play lately but now i got some free time to spent and now I can't play... I got the e-mail that I got banned for using exploit which is not true... Strange that I can access my me3 profile stats on Profile page and nothing dissapered. Hope that this is some kind of Earth DLC issue and get fixed soon :(
I buyed day1 DLC and now I can't even load my single player game... I'm very sad :(

I seem to be in a similar boat, I downloaded and installed the earth dlc. Then I played it a bit and came out. When I went back in it was asking for an online pass. I dunno why it's asking this as all i did was play some silver games to try out the new classes.

I downloaded the Earth DLC too, but I didn't get to play much either. I did a silver with my Male Human Infiltrator and I tried to make a Platinum lobby, but no one would join the game. I really wanted to try it out. I'm not sure if the 2 are related. In any case, I'm really hoping this will be fixed soon. I really wanted to play some Mass Effect tonight. All I can do is start a New single player game, but it won't authorize the DLC, so I probably won't have access to Javik!

Got an email from EA saying I have been banned from the multiplayer for exploiting. I can't understand how as I did not exploit in any way. All I did was play some games to try out the DLC. I hope to get a reply on the email address given above to explain what is going on.

Well, here's hoping it gets fixed in a few hours :crying:. It's really driving me bonkers :blink:

UPDATE: I just received word regarding this issue and quote:

"Hello,
 I have taken a look into your account and can confirm that you have been banned for exploiting multiplayer. Due to how our investigation process is handled, however, I cannot disclose any details. We take cheating very seriously and we have decided that this ban will be permanent.Regards, Ernest Tse"

End quote: so therefore I am accussed of cheating. No trial, just executioner. With no appeal. I don't why everyone's so secretive at EA/Bioware. I find details to be important.

UPDATE 1: Also my reply to the email above:

Hello,
I can assure you that I haven't cheated. If you think I have just wipe my multiplayer account, but give me back my online pass, because it seems that I can't even play single player because of it. I can't authorize any DLC: From Ashes DLC won't authorize and Extended Cut either. Please solve this issue. As for multiplayer, I usually only play it with friends, and I haven't done anyone any harm. Please remove my ban. You can monitor my activities all you want and see if I'm lying. From what that person from EA Support told me, this all seems like a trick to get me to buy a new ME3 version. Is this a trick?
I'm hoping this can be resolved peacefully.

You're better off ringing the EA support line. I've been in this position for almost 1 month now... And Bioware gave me exactly the same answer as you mentioned above. I am now in some sort of "queue" within the EA "advanced support"...
All I can say is that I'm not impressed with the management of Bioware and EA atm.

As a side note: most of the support people I've been talking to seem keen to help me, and very professional.

Thanks for the advice. If things don't get resolved, I'll be sure to try it.
Also as a side note: In order to access singleplayer DLC I resorted to using a crack... what a world...

Looks like I'm in the same boat.  I've received an e-mail informing me of being banned for "Exploitative Activity Found".  I haven't exploited the game at all as far as I know, and neither have the people I've played with.  Even if they did, I wouldn't know how.

As for today, all I did was install the Earth DLC, spend the credits I had saved up from several Gold games from the past couple days with friends (during which neither I nor any of my friends did anything out of the ordinary), and briefly tried out the new Infiltrator character on a couple private Bronze games before exiting the game to get some things done.  I come back, check my e-mail, and that's pretty much it.

If I was supposedly exploiting the game with friends, why am I the only one banned?  If I inadvertantly joined a game with random people who were exploiting the game, I wouldn't know, and even if they were, I'm pretty sure me trying to play the game normally would only interfere with their attempts to make glitches/exploits happen.  And in either case, it's hugely unfair to ban people for randomly joining the lobbies and games of cheaters because of the match making system.

Anyways, I've already sent an appeal to ME3AccountAdmin@BioWare.com, so here's hoping Bioware take a closer look and realize they acted on erroneous data or something.

Funny thing is that Xbox/PS3 users can buy an online pass, PC users can't, they have to buy another copy of the game.

Since we've been wrongfully banned (and probably we won't convince you), isn't better to just erase the profile completely and let us play the game we paid for? Kthx.

I thought the Earth DLC crashed my multiplayer access only to find out I've been banned.

I don't understand why? I didn't do anything wrong unless playing Gold Geth Firebase White for 10 hours straight is considered cheating.

I sent off an e-mail, but with my luck I won't get any help.

Me too, although there was a player that kept dying and respawning at the landing zone.. strange.
Funniest thing is that they ban-waved right after the Earth DLC download, nice cheap shot.

I'm really hoping these bans are being caused by the Earth DLC introducing some sort of bug.  It seems to be the common theme here - briefly playing the new DLC before being locked out.

I never even bothered farming Golds (boring, repetitive, no challenge).  I mostly just played with a regular group of friends that knew the value of strength in numbers and never left anyone for dead.

Кроме того, многое в игре информация хранится на стороне сервера, так и с Bioware, а не пользователем, что происходит, будете ли вы превратить Обратная связь Возможность сватить ГРЕБ...БАН в ME3 MP совет (ВЫКЛЮЧИТЬ прослушевание Файлов:police: Save ME3 MP  на страх и риск >>Вкл<<,или Выкл и они могут использовать эту информацию для продолжения обнаружить и доказать вину, мошенников. Было бы глупо предполагать, что они создали систему, которая даст игрокам власти намеренно избежать обмана обнаружения. Они этого не сделали.
