Arguing won't solve anything. I just want access to the game I paid for. I haven't done any other player any harm, just let me play my copy of the game.

Did you try this? If you did sorry:

For PC games you will need to enable Origin's offline mode to play games with a disabled account. Go to the settings tab in Origin (the gear icon) and select Go Offline.

Yes, I have, I think Origin needs authorize in offline mode too. I did manage to bypass Origin and access From Ashes with some crack file off the Internet, but Extended Cut is still unauthorized.

Don't you think that they investigate your cases? Don't you think that they look hard at the server-side data before they ban? Don't you think as regular players you'd notice unusual amounts of credits after a game, given that is is right there in your face? Nobody gets banned for a one-of (be it missile glitching or being part of a hacked game). It's repeated & persistent exploits that get you banned, and quite rightly so.

I never even had abnormally high credits.  If I did end up with credits I shouldn't have gotten, it wasn't enough for me to notice.  I almost exclusively played Gold games, typically with friends who know how to properly play the game themselves, so having a good number of credits was common for me.

I wouldn't be surprised if bans were instantaneous, and that they only truly look closely at the case when the banned player asks for an appeal.  Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a good number of false positives if their detection methods were as...  sound, as their ability to patch these exploits to prevent players from doing them, inadvertantly or otherwise, in the first place (not to mention the other numerous bugs still present in the game).

It's frustrating to see that innocent players such as myself and presumably the others in this thread can be associated with cheaters and therefore punished with the most severe punishment just for being randomly placed in one of their games without realizing it!

I do some research and look what I found: http://www.qj.net/im...es/me3convo.png

So there is a "possibility" that I played with host who used a money glitch or something and I could spent more credits that I usually do and for this I could get banned? How could I know? WTH?

Received the form letter about how investigative they are and how I'm permabanned. Not standing for it. Sent them a couple more e-mails, see if they get the message that I'm not going to lie down and accept false accusations.

Good luck with that and I mean it.... but I have given up. It is literally like talking with a wall of stone. I got unbanned today by rebuying the game discounted from customer service.

If I ever see something weird from here on out, I'm out of there.

I called EA support and a nice lady told me that she can not do anything about it, and that this ban is imposed from above by Bioware. She said that I should contact on email (that everybody here knows) and try to explain the problem. No use, its 2nd time I got the same message by copy/paste. She also mentioned that she see that I have this ban and has a message to not unbad me. If Bioware will give me the 3rd time the same answer I'll sincerely thank to this company and say farewell and remember not to buy anything from them again.

They just want to force you to buy a new copy. Greedy EA.

"How much does it cost?"

They took 15% off the price and I got full access to all my old stuff. Even if I just had my access back, with nothing, I would have been happy. I don't cheat, but I work 10 hours a day 5 days a week and have to take care of a struggling sister.

When I do get a few free hours, I can get a quick game in 20 minutes. And I usualy farm Gold Geth White Firebase Friday nights from 9pm to 4AM in the morning on Saturday for credits. I'm willing to bet money that somewhere in there, I managed to stumble into a group of cheaters.

I distinctly remember now, one night where the group I was in was completing gold matchs in 10 to 15 minutes. I thought I have just stumbled into a group of really good players, but now that I think about it... They were probably all cheating, using something to make everyone in the server super strong and get easy credits.

I had trouble a few months back with my account being blocked and looking back I guess I must have been banned for stumbling into a bad bunch of cheating randoms, but no-one told me that was the reason. In the end I made enough of a fuss and got a new product key, I always assumed something on the server had been glitched up. Is the safe solution to always host your own games and let others join, or can joiners also cheat? Because reading this I'm starting to think I don't want to join random games any more because of the potential for bans...

Hm, that's actually a pretty good idea, if I had faster internet service I might consider it, but I have basic speed. I don't think people would be too happy with me hosting a server. I'll just have to be more careful to avoid people who cheat the system.

So basicaly they had you pay for the game a 2nd time? 15% off isn't much of an offer... but if you're happy, I guess that counts.

I am facing the same issue right now. Did anybody play with a Krogan (myb Vanguard)? I played a Silver with him and do remember he was trying to tank every geth enemy without ever dying (or slowly dying). Sigh..please give us a break BW..how can we even know who's cheating in this game when all I'm doing is going from match to match in a Public server. I don't even have friends who play ME3 (only 1) and he's going to D3.
