I have just mailed the Citizens Advice Bureau to query if BioWare/EA can effectivly steal 50% of the product i paid for.
I'll let you know what they say.

This is it lads. It's time to get serious about this issue.

We arent just a bunch of kids playing a game, we are paying customers that have been screwed over.
The gloves are off.

Now everybody don't blame EA cause it's not their fault. WHY ? Because the advisors they keep saying the same thing and they can't do anything cause it's their job and they don't want to lose their job right ,and i understand them. It's bioware we should blame ,they banned us cause they are the creators of the game right ,they are in charge ,EA are just following orders nobody wants to lose jobs and i always thought it was them but it was never them. And I'm saying this cause I hate seeing the innocent get hurt or blamed (well for them cause they are also getting the blame). Anyways I know what I'm saying.

Well most of the people I've talked to were from India (I think) so I guess the job part applies even more so over there. I called it quits after about 15-20 tries during a 2-3 week period. Also spammed that Ernst bioguy just for kicks. Truth be told, nothing is worth this hassle. Like Shep would say, "you move on stronger and tougher!" :bandit:

I'm working on it.
I have found out that the EU court has ruled the we own digital products once we have paid for them, rather than paying for a service, we actually own the licence (so we could go ahead and sell them if we wanted to!).

Anyway, what this means is that BioWare have in effect stolen our online pass, the ones we paid for.

Check out PCGamer, Issue 243, page 8.
and here;
http://www.gameinfor...spx?PageIndex=2

Now by my reconing, BioWare, you are in breach of European Laws.
Why?
The product that i own, the one i bought from you, is incomplete.
You might be based in Canada or the US, but you trade in the EU.

My "registered game content "  clearly states that I have one "Online Pass (N7 Collector's Edition)" registered to my account.

Please give it back.

You might be right.

I have an idea though; Do you own the N7 collectors edition?
If so, I'll sell you mine and I'll buy yours.
That way we'll both have obtained a new licence and have sorted out this whole BS situation.

And whats more, it's our legal right to do so.

...and yes. it does.

I've just watch on line how easy and simple the credit glitch is to pull off!  It's patheticly simple.

DONT WORRY, FORUM POLICE, I WONT SAY HOW ITS DONE! because I DONT CHEAT!

but quite frankly if some one does it and your on the recieving end, your screwed and there is bugger all you can do about it.

The first you'll know about it is an email in your inbox.

I'm sure Bioware is aware of the issue and is working to fix it. I doubt they would leave this many customers out in the dark, especially with an Operation next weekend and Leviathan DLC after that.
I too am victim to this problem, and was really anxious to play today. Hope you get this fixed soon Bioware, the Gallaxy's N7 operatives are getting restless.

I am getting this problem off and on as well and only manage to fix it for a short period of time by performing a repair install....talked to an EA adviser who managed to help me get it corrected...that lasted for probably an hour before the "Redeem / Purchase online pass" came back again. Did not use to have this issue but it started after Operation : Olympus for me.

Seriously Frustrating..

New discovery; the ban prevents you accessing the galaxy at war map in single player, because it pulls the data from the EA server!

This is completely unacceptable.

Ban someone from MP if you must, but you can't touch their single player game!
You've gone too far. You affected my single player game.
