You see, I'm playing a vanguard right now, and Heavy barrier is awesome to use before a fight, especially since Heavy Charge restores 100% of my shield, including the bonus from Heavy Barrier, as long as my shields don't go down completely.
Now, this is what is confusing me. The description of Heavy Barrier states that it gives you 100% of your maximum shields. Right now, I have 407 barrier strength with my vanguard. So, an extra 100% would then be 817 barrier. However, I only have 657 barrier when I use it. My question is, is this a visual bug or is it correct? Because if it is, then I am not getting 100% like the skill states, I am only getting an extra 250 points, which is not 100% of my MAXIMUM shields.
Another thing to note, which is even more interesting. Sometimes, after I charge while my barrier is up, I get 907 barrier. I don't know how this happens, but my question is simple on this one - how do I get 907 barrier after a charge? Or is this just a visual bug? I doubt it's a visual bug because from what I have seen, every attack takes LESS of my barrier when I have 907 barrier after a charge, so it seems that I really do have 907 barrier sometimes.
so basically, 2 simple questions - how come Heavy Barrier does not seem to give an extra 100% of my MAXIMUM shields (as the skill sattes), but rather it gives me an extra 250, AND, why do I sometimes have 907 barroer after a charge if my barrier is still up?
I'm kind of confused, but hopefully someone cna explain this.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. I hope I can get some clarification
