So now that that whole debacle with the endings is cleared up, we can get on with our lives and you guys can stop pumping out MP DLC. Don't get me wrong I like that you did, having a new map pack come out every time I play the MP is nice, and the fact is that you were worried about people buying any paid dlc till after you fixed the endings (this thread is not about anyone's opinion on the endings, so please keep it OT).

Anyway I got some ideas for some much needed story DLC.

Pitch#1: Eternity Lost

The jist of how the setup works is simmilar to overlord, its got multiple missions, with one central hub (that hub being the ship you crashed in or a facility you took shelter in or something like that). The story is that there seemed to be alot of reaper activity surrounding this one particular planet (named Eternity or something, don't know if that name is taken*) in an area of space where there is typically no life found. Your task is to investigate why the reapers were so interested in the planet with no life.

Mission 1, space station orbiting the planet, apparently an abandoned mining facility, with odd amounts of stealth tech onboard for no apparent reason. Any attempt at contacting onboard personel reveals no life on board. Further investigation reveals that there is an EMP blast that will go off in 30 seconds, resulting in a collapsed mass effect field and the crashing of the station upon the planet. The EMP went off too soon and the room theyre in is reinforced and EMP shielded (for purposes of crashing in emergencies) so they opt to buckle in and have the normandy pick them up on the planet after the station has crashed.

Mission 2: crashing on the planet reveals almost no signs of life, other than the fact that there is an EM field surrounding the planet that is unnatural and must be shut down, and a facility of, what appears to be asari origin. Further investigation reveals an asari plot to bottle asari genetics inside a virus that is meant to repopulate the galaxy with asari, but something happened when they tried to explore some of the planet''s deeper caves... what happened, and why were the reaper's interested?

Pitch #2" Hunt for the Normandy SR3

K so heres the setup, it takes place roughly at any point during the game but has roughly 4 missions spread out across the story (2 for each act, though if you start it in act 3 you can still do all the missions, obviously).
The scene begins with an alliance mining ship warping into a system, a planet off to the left as it does so. Cut to the inside of the ship where the ship's pilot notifies the captain that they've arrived at the planet. The captain tells him to commence landing procedures, but is interrupted by his second in command saying "we've got company",Cut to outside the ship where a ship that looks like the normandy jumps in behind the mining ship. "doesnt match any known signitures," replies the pilot."the profile matches a ship in our registry but..." the second says."Reapers?" replies the captain."not the reapers.." replies the pilot, confused.
suddenly the intercom on the mining ship starts broadcasting a message from the new ship"this is commander shepard..." cut to inside the other ship, to the familliar face of commander shepard as he continues, "...of the alliance navy, I'm looking for the Magellan (the name of the mining ship), am I right in assuming that I'm talking to the magellan's captain?"
murmurs abound on the mining ship of a mix of "commander shepard?", "the first human spectre, commander shepard?", etc.The captain of the magellan responds hesitantly with a hand to silence those on the bridge of the magellan and says "yes sir/ma'am (depending on your shep's sex), that is...""theyre powering weapons" interrupts the pilot. What?" shouts the second.cut to the normandy firing photon-torpedo-like projectiles at the mining ship's engines and then flying within boarding range, then cut to commander shepard as he gives orders to his crew, the camera pans out as he looks to the right, revealing a large scar on the left side of his/her face RIDDLED with cybernetics, including a completely cybernetic eye (no whites)."board them, take all of them, deal with any resistance, but take any survivors." camera pans out further to reveal his crew, wearing what would otherwise be cerberus armor, except where it would normally be white, yellow and black, it was white, red and black, panning further out another robot that looks alot like EDI's body hand's shepard a PDA as the camera pans through the ships walls and to the hull of the ship. The camera again pans right across the ships name spelled in black letters followed by SR3.Cut to blackshepards voice "make sure there are no survivors"display the DLC's title "hunt for the SR3" or "hunt for normandy 3" something like that, then the mass effect logo

The idea is that somehow there's a "bizarro-Shep" out there taking the various populations of various ships in an effort to undermine shep as he tries to unite the galaxy (IE: it appears that he/she is still working with cerberus), and it's your job to find out why and stop him/her.
