It KILLS me that I can't use the Character Creator. My graphic card is too old! Wish they had it for the 360.

Oh, dear Templar, don't you see? That Noble has been possessed by a demon. He's clearly far gone, completely taken by the demonic forces that threaten all life. If you'll permit me, I'll deal with the problem, as an upstanding member of the Circle.

...Don't call in the Templars unless you're willing to deal with the consequences, human. *smiles sweetly*

Ahh, a nice ale is always welcomed by a dwarf. But I do believe that elven mage was a "he" of course all of them are skinny enough to get blow away by a slight breeze that it makes it too hard to tell the difference, and their inability to grow a beard is shameful.

All elves look like women anyway, does it really matter?  Lets go drink sir.

I concur. We could take the elf as well, though.

I could use a toast rack.

Maker preserve me, look at the beasts face, he is surely corrupted by things unholy. Very well Magi, i will allow you to deal with the abomination, but i shall keep thy phylactery close at hand, lest you fall to those dark powers.

Truly, human wit has never been matched. Surpassed, often, but never matched.

I propose the rules of the contest! A match of skills and wit and cunning! Or of strength, brute and agility, if you wish to go that route. I propose we use this town as a hazard course for our bemusement, so we may settle our differences quietly and without needless interference.

If you disagree, just walk away.

(Challenge set: Your portrait is your character in this set. Since portraits can be changed, this means you'll enter the contest only with the avatar you currently have. While we don't have multiplayer, we do have stats of our characters and the ability to view them and see others same. I ask noone cheat by looking at the stats of other people unless to verify their posted result, and use your give stats as a baseline for what you can use abilities for.

That said, feel free to roleplay your result in a challenge form close to how the score would represent on a scale from 10-25, I think, and post your statistic as well, for ease of viewing.

If anyone have an even better idea for a challenge, or don't want it to go this way, feel free to voice that concern as well, since we're kinda out of options for other ways of going this way.

Thank you.)

(An interesting idea, Mordaedil. Let's try it with something basic.)

A hazard course, eh? Well then, you elven bastard, let's have at this. This street's filled with crates and carts and a few daft elves. The person who gets the most off the street in two minutes wins this little practice, eh?

(If I'm not incorrect, let's put down a 16 strength as a stat here. And see what happens..)

"My friend" Hylan slaps the Templar lightly on the shoulder and spreads his lips in a friendly yet sheepish grin.  "You know my family.  My father and brother have long supported the Chantry and the country.  Why would a daemon possess me to condemn a mage?"  Hylan gets a confused look on his face.  "Not to mention an elf?  Wouldn't a elven mage be far more likely to commune with demons sir?"  Hylan waits patiently until the Templar nods in agreement and grabs the elf's shoulder.

Hylan quiety, barely audible whispers, "Don't challenge your betters elf.  Who do you think could sway the Templars more an elven mage or a human noble."

(BTW my PC is a very manipulative Noble Rogue who will focus on cunning above everything else.  He could talk his way into and out of almost any situation :)).

Pish posh. Only cowardly fools and weaklings must surrender to the demons in order to have any sort of power whatsoever. If one is gifted, one merely needs to work their Art. Take this so-called noble. Note the close-setting of the eyes, the beady gaze, the dead flesh of his face in comparison to the fires that burn in his eyes. Fires, I may note, that seem to be gazing hatefully, balefully in both of our directions now.

On the other hand, behold me. Beautiful, no? Which of us appears to be more possessed of a demon? could set him ablaze for you and drive the demon from his flesh if you wish, ser.

A contest eh?  Well then, I put a call to all Dalish to see how long you can last in the nearest shemlen city.

The rules are simple, you cannot hide your heritage, show your faces proudly!  Stealth is, of course permitted, someone not seeing you is fine, someone seeing you and not knowing that you are Dalish is not.

Fighting is allowed only to defend yourself, if you must pre-emptively strike, it must not be fatal!  Any casualties will cause an instant disqualification, our little game will surely rile them up enough without any deaths to add to the flame.

As a final note, if you can convince any of our lost brethren living the lives of a shemlen to return to the  way of three trees and live in the forest with us, you will score bonus points.

(Basic idea is anyone with a Dalish avatar can claim to be in a human city, anyone else can then try and roust them, points for every encounter you survive and also points for anyone with a City-Elf avatar you can convince to change to a Dalish avatar :P)

(Telarian enters a human city stealthily :bandit:)

Shush doggy, people are talking.

So you'll use your elevated rank within the corrupt aristocracy to hide behind your safe walls, hm?

(to Taeghen) I'm glad some of you are at least willing to put up a bit of a contest, you're on! *he flashes a grin* Anyone else willing to give it a 'push'?

(Jaeriel's strength is 17 points.)

Well now, the aristocracy isn't all corrupt.

Look at me, for example. A fine example of a hearty Ferelden nobleman.

Insult my dogs and I'll kill you, mind you. And step up, the rest of you scrawny bastards! Let's get these crates -moved-!

Do you want them moved, or do you want them out of the way, Noble of the Dogs? There's two different ways to handle this, depending on which of those you want done.
