Is it just me or dose it kinda irk anyone else?  I am fine with the female model in this game but wich they had made her just a little thicker.  It is kinda silly seeing my female warrior swing around her big sword and shield with those toothpick like arms...

I'm with you. I'd have preferred more athletic builds.

Actually, I play nothing but elves because the human female models are too wide, and they have too big boobs (not to mention dwarfs..). So I disagree with you. I want them more, not less, skinny.

It's the current fashion to have the "ideal" female be rather skinny.  Had the technology been around in the 50s, the female models would be far more voluptuous.   I have been wondering if we, as in those with that cultural ideal, aren't starting to move back toward a curvier body ideal.  When you look at many of the recent female pop stars (ie Shakira or Beyonce) they are beautifully curvy.  And with the rise of the female star athlete, we are also beginning to admire a "heathier" body type.  At least that's what I beleive I am seeing.  But it can take a long time for such shifts to pervade the greater culture, so we will likely no be seeing "athletic" female forms in games for quite a while yet.

I think I have to agree with both Bibdy and Tonya777 on this on. Exciting and scary all at the same time.

You want female characters in video games to have implants and bleach-blonde dyed hair??

I like them both ways , but prefer the ones with TNA by alot more

The type that I DON'T like is when they are some weird place between anorexic & stacked , the kind that has the weird asses that look like baloons that got filled up with cottage cheese but then popped and deflated (Shudders)and boobs that are simply not particularly appealing because they are too.... medium (Small or Large preffered , but medium? Eh.. .whatever)

Female athletes have curves based on muscles (and are small in the bra area). That looks great to me. Moreover, if they keep exercising all their life, they keep the body -- as my wife can attest.

Too many modern female bodies have their curves based on adipose tissue. That looks okay for a while -- but doesn't hold up over the years.

My vote is for athletic DA females -- mostly what we've got to my eye.

It would be nice if there were multiple builds for people in this game and for all races but that probably just seemed like a lot of work. A lot of people probably don't care, or notice it.

I get the whole cultural crap but come on this is a game! Would it hurt to make the female character look like they could actualy use a two handed wepon without falling over?

Ideals aside, women (and men) exist in all shapes and sizes. It would have been better if we could adjust the body size.

Put them in massive armor and pretend the inside of the sleeves are filled up with Beth Pheonix size guns?

Video games aren't meant to be real life, which is sort of sad in one respect.

Women are human beings no matter how they look, and as such deserve respect in any case. I'm not a fan of implants or artificially colored anything.

Fantasy artists concentrate too much on one stereotype for my tastes, but there's not much that can be done, as they are trying to market to the horny male population.

Yes, bring on the body morpher!!

Or morph it in a way where + strength makes you look beefier(in a womanly way) kinda how Fable II did their body setup....except when I had my fem character maxed on (constitution? been a while)

she looked more manly than I'd ever care for, lol.

Artificially coloring "things" (as you call it) looks best on some women though , course ther are some who it doesn't really work for but they do it anyway but the ones it does work for its good
