Its only the robes styled like the apprentice/mage robes though , the tevinter fur pauldron robes don't do that

Also yes darker hair and redheads are hotter then blondes inho.

Maybe it's a trend with RPGs ya know, cause Oblivion and Morrowind models also seemed like one poster said "emaciated" though I'd say they were a bit worse than DA. Until the body mods came up that is.

Tomi Undergallows was the halfing, and unlike a certain hot but goody good rogue, he could always always pick a lock or open a trap, but I digress.

I'll keep that in mind about the robes though, cause now my ADD is acting up and I wanna make a female mage, prolly human, and I confess it's in part for the eye candy. Gotta make here different enough then my current mage though....crap, To the character creator!

Err ... toothpicks for arms ?

Never try playing Vanguard: Saga of Heroes then. THERE the women REALLY have toothpicks for arms. More thin than the bone of a real woman. THAT thin. Even if a women died for hunger, she would still have thicker arms than that.

And I'm talking about how it was when you had set the arm size to maximum.

Wasnt like that in the beginning, by the way. At the beginning, they where going for a realistic look. Much cooler.

Maybe its just me but if you look at Lilliana from just the right angle aside/back she still has a little baby fat on her.

Oh that is only when she is wearing Dalish leather.

its equally unrealistic and playing to a stereotype. most guys, even athletic and well built, dont have the perfect physique they give them in these games. just like most girls dont have these perfect hot bods either.

No matter what the majority of us men truly think, many ladies prefer to believe what the media/culture tells them. Only advantage some blondes have I found is that they don't really need to completely shave... down there as long as its not too thick. Hehe



Personally I like dyed red hair though, redheads tend to be more orangy. Pure red or even natural auburn is plain hot, got the missus to get it done too =)

You are most welcome.  In RL I'm the quiet, shy type who is too afraid to approach a woman, but here I can at least voice my opinion honestly..  It's funny that even though my father died when I was 12, he had already instilled in me the mindset to respect women no matter what they looked like, (he treated my mother like gold and she wasn't stunning by any stretch).  Men are visual by nature, but in the long run, looks change, whereas mindset and attitude usually don't so much.

It's all about money really.  Sex sells, and the fantasy ideal isn't anything like reality, which sometimes isn't a good thing.

Maybe wide isnt the right word, I dont know how to say it, but somehow they are just... wrong.
Well, maybe it´s only because I´m a fan of the anorectic elf-type, and I think small boobs are more attractive than silicon tubs. Whatever, in my opinion the human women in DAO do only look good when wearing heavy armour, and, in most cases, a closed helmet. (Though the helmet part is true with the other races as well, mostly)

As a female gamer, I have to say I haven't come across a game with a realistic female(body) model yet.*

As for DA:O, I think the problem isn't just that they are too skinny, but totally disproportionate. They either look like they can't support their armor/weapons with their lacking muscle tone, and/or like they are suffering from malnutrition(see scary, protruding collar bones). Yet they boast weirdly over-sized shoulders and (in leather armor) an unfortunate looking six pack. And the absent waist...

Not that I want to see a skinny/fat scale. But I don't think its unrealistic for a female model to be both meaty, curvy, sexy AND seemingly able to wield something more than a butter knife.
