I need help. Do I spec arc grenades, homing grenades, or both.

I personally find the homing grenades to be superior to the arcs. I am running a 6/4/6/6/4 build right now. But some people might not agree with me. Taking her passive to 6 for the extra grenades is important in my opinion.

Go 2 ranks in fitness. Max the Supply Beacon with grenades for 2. Take 5 ranks of arc grenades with straight damage and the electrical effect. Homing grenade six ranks with damage, fire effect and split grenade in two.

Go both. And on Homing Grenades, it seems Armor Damage at Rank 6 beats the Split evolution. I tried it with Split and it's nice, but not nearly as useful.

I recommend only one grenade personally. Arc grenades on this class are nerfed. The homing grenade is better for single targets while arc does cc. It's personal opinion. The homing grenades aren't as bad as some people say

I used 6/6/6/4/4. Arc grenades for shields, homing for armor. Pylon spits out more grenades more often and I use a Cerb harrier with Warfighter V. Worked well on Platinum. Being able to dish out 7 grenades at once is nice. It will be devastating with Grenade Capacity V.

I have a 6/5/6/6/3 build. Arcs are good for crowd control, close or from short range. Homing Grenades are useful from afar, like when you want to take down that Ravager sniping on you. I have to say, this is my most used character so far from the entire Earth DLC.

prefer 6/6/6/5/3 with arc grenades speced for shields and homing spected for armor, set the supply beacon to dispense 2 grenades at a time and use grenade capacity gear
use any weapon you want, the only cooldown you have is the beacon so go as heavy as you want.
enjoy

Is the pylon to rank necessary necessary? What about 4/6/6/6/4? 65% power increase is a huge power bonus.

it would be a great build if no one was standing inside of it.
the rank 5 evo lets you choose b.w weapon or power damage +15%..
theres also the shield bonus.
as far as weapon damage goes, thats pretty significant.
it depends on how you want to use the pylon.
if just for supplies, yeah thatd be awesome.

Yeah but with no cooldowns I can carry two great weapons, I just used a harrier VI and a hurricane IV and it works very well. I appreciate your feed back, well said.

You really want maxed candy van for the extra grenade replenishment. All your specials use grenades, that +1 grenade generation means you're getting twice as many whenever you're camping or pinned down. I run with homing grenade 6 (armor evo) and arc grenade 5 (shields are relatively easy to strip), so I can have a few points for fitness. This way, you have an answer for every heavy unit on the field.

I get your logic but for max tech bursts you need rank 6 in arc and homing grenades.

I build my 6/6/6/6/0, no fitness, I'm trying to figure out if arc shouldn't also be armor dam bonus, using this character on Reapers lots of armor. I use Gears 20% shield to compensate, seems to do okay, help if there is like a Krogan around. Also hang around the dispenser, plus 15% or 25% shield, can't remember. It's a good camper.

Not a very good Escort character though.

This class is a gem. As long as you keep those grenades up it is the tony stark fun show. Especially useful for dealing with enemies in cover at a distance, amazing for buring through enemy armor.

The homing grenades are more powerful but arc grenades are instant and great cc. Against geth they're really useful for keeping the hunters and pyros back.

Radius or Damage for rank 4 of homing grenade? Also I'm not sure if I should get shield/barrier or armor damage for rank 6 arc grenades.

i think i would drop the supply pylon. the extra grenades are nice, but unless you want to farm WGG, a stationary pylon isn't that great.

6/6/6/6/0
Slap on your shield booster and hope the enemies don't fire at you.
You basically rip shreds

Best way to go. Maxed out Arc grenades for damage, increase, and shield damage. Homing for damage, increase, and armor damage. Passive for grenade increases.

Tear it up on Platnium!

6/6/6/6/0 seconded if the last 20% power damage worked. Unfortunately people on BSN have tested it and it doesn't. I'll be going back to 6/6/6/5/3 then. The extra grenade is not worth two ranks in fitness when I already have 10 available.

Tossing in my two credits, repost from this thread.

6/4/4/6/6 build

Supply Pylon - Radius (4), Power Damage (5), Max Shields (6)
Arc Grenade - Radius (4)
Homing Grenade - Damage (4)
N7 Demolisher - Weapon Damage (4), Power Damage (5), Weapon Damage & Grenade (6)
Fitness - Durability (4), Shield Recharge (5), Fitness Expert (6)

Weapon: Geth Plasma Shotgun
Gear: Grenade Capacity

This setup just tears things apart. Did a Gold run against Cerberus with it and held the left-hand staircase more or less solo the whole match. It's great having a mobile ammo box so squad mates don't have to run all over the map looking for stuff.

This class is LEGEN--wait for it--DARY!

46664. Pylon is still good at 4.
