I found a repeatable bug with both the Sub Machine Gun and Pistol weapon mod screens in multiplayer.
The SMG mod choices will only allow me to choose from 6 of the 7 mods available. Starting with an unmodded SMG (I tried several SMGs), the first slot seems to work, but the second slot skips the last mod choice. Changing the first mod choice once I've selected a second mod at this point appears to skip a mod in the first mod slot.
The Pistol mod screen appears to skip mods too. If one of the new Earth DLC mods is selected first, the other mod selector skips a mod.
I've added the Earth DLC and unlocked the two new SMG mods and the two new Pistol mods.
It's not a game-breaker, but I thought you should be made aware of it.

It's not a bug, but intended - High Caliber Barrel and High Velocity Barrel for SMG are mutually exlusive as they both are barrel mods - you can't equip them at the same time. Same with the pistol's Cranial Trauma System and High Caliber Barrel. Both are barrel extensions - so you have to choose which one to equip.

Some of the mods are mutually exclusive like the barrel mods and magazine upgrade/ULM. I was looking at the numbers under the mods and wondering why it was skipping numbers when I cycled through them. I wasn't looking at what the mods actually were.
So... not a bug after all!
