Toolset looks like a demo version?

Downloaded toolset, 1.01 version naturally. Had to manually uninstall it a while ago.

When it installed and I had opened it, I noticed that on the right, it didn't look complete. It only had like half of what it should have. For example, it only had the dwarf noble and city elf. And it had files that were labeled as "demo." Sort of like it was a demo version of the toolset!

I'm really confused and also sad, because I loved creating my own things for my characters :( some insight on this would greatly be appreciated. Hopefully I explained my problem (if not, I'll download it again to get screenshots)

Might want to try reading the wiki. It's not a demo, you just didn't have the single player module (or a custom module that extended single player) open.

I think this section http://social.biowar..._of_the_toolset explains it but as I'm not very good at grasping things (visual learner), I need a simplified explanation on how to get the sing player module opened. Cause I really do not remember how it was before...except for the fact that I know MORE was in there!

You don't want to mess with the SP module itself, you want a custom module that extends SP. The wiki covers most things, but a lot of it is not simple because the toolset is a complex bit of kit. Start here - http://social.biowar...x.php/Tutorials or try searching YouTube for the various video tutorials that are available.

Finally figured it out! Phew, thanks for the help :D

Edit: Ha, can't remember how to make the custome module that extands single player...go figure...and can't find that in the wiki x.x'

Edit2: Wait wait wait! I think I found it!

Edit3: I'm feeling more and more like an idiot x'D I'm in manage modules and trying to figure out how to make my custome module (wanting it to be called Custome Items)...

Edit4: Managed to get it xD but it doesn't have all that Single Player does....probably did something wrong :pinched:

Edit5: I really am an idiot...lmao! Found the armor and weapons that I was so desperately looking for! Ugh...okay, think I might got the rest :) again, thanks for all the help ^_^

I also feel the toolset isn't what was used to create the game, exactly, because it crashes when attempting to open certain campaign maps (like Lothering), complaining the map is too big, though it let me open others.

At least I managed to fix a few bugs on the maps I could open (unreachable trap in Korcari wilds, permanently hot-spotted codex statue in Dalish camp, etc.).

Yeah, seems the toolset or at least the SQL has problems. After installing it and getting it to work yesterday, I come on to try and opened it...get that "cannot connect to database" crap, which is the reason I had to uninstall the blasted thing in the beginning! I don't think SQL 2005 is works very well, is there anything that works to get the toolset to work properly? Really enjoy creating my own things :crying:
