No, this is not an attack on the client, I have no problems with the Steam client or Origin, so lets not make this an attack thread, my question is technical not rage, why is Origin sitting doing nothing yet pulling an almost constant 30% cpu?
I like to keep the client open for convenience, but obviously that 30% is not acceptable when I want the cpu's full attention on the games I play.
Why is Origin using my CPU?

Uuh. 30% is definitely not normal... Does it download something or similar?

Nope, it's idle but still taking 30%, I even closed the window(not stopped the process) thinking it was the animation on the ads but it still kept using 30% but whatever it was doing it's stopped now, I've not recieved any notification like client update, whatever it was doing it was doing it silently, if I had not noticed something was lagging my game I'd have missed it.r0estir0bbe wrote...
