Yean the N7 6572 had a bunch of his "experience" playing with low level characters.  Video games are not physical activity, you do not get stronger by playing with weights on.  You get better by playing with your character in their final form so the nuances of the way they work become second nature to you.

If they have the same gear, that means the N7 470 has just as much experience, plus all his experience is with his character in the form he's going to use it in your game in.

By not promoting your just a big question mark that screams to be booted.

It's exactly this mentality that a high N7 shows, which means you should question the motivations of this player.  Promoting and then playing with a low level character expressly means his next few teams are hurt, and he will have slightly less credits in the long run due to taking longer to finish runs (or maybe even failing them).  He made a conscious decision to increase a meaningless number over getting more things of substance.

It's like if you read a report that a cell phone company is investing three times as much of their revenue in advertising instead of R&D as some other company.  I'm gonna go with the other company, the one that invests in having a better product, instead of the one that invests in advertising that they have a good product.

Can't really agree with this I'm an n7 330 and I've been playing on xbox since the first month. I only play gold and above. All my chars are built to play the high difficulties. I have played with 4 digit n7 who where garbage and should have sticked with silver. Check my manifest if you doubt my credentials on thing I will say is I get booted from alot of public games on the fact my n7 is low. But, that's an xbox thing lol
