By the way, here are Elminsters stats:

He has -13 AC, 96 HP, 8/3/5/7/4 (death/wands/poly/breath/spells) for saves, 100% MR, counts as an innocent and has no powers, items (except for a plain quarterstaff) or spells whatsoever.


@Skelli: Try out to kill Shandalar. Hes also worth 26k XP, but is a tougher fight(actually it is fight, thats what makes it tougher at all ^^)

There is also Ularaunt on the last floor of Candlekeep library. Not exactly that strong in spellpower, BUT he has 900+ HPs. Oh, my old good times with my level 33 fighter with all 25s... He could kill just about anyone without too much problem...

4000 XP, right? The only decent way I found to kill him is put blindness on him and be lucky to not get fulminated. And even if you DO kill him, you end up being mega-fulminated by Thetoril...

Im still asking myself myself: When you see how Gorion stands against Sarevok and what low level spells he cast. How was he able to be a great helper of the Harpers, a respected friend of Khelben and Elminster + the Enemy no.1 for the Bhaal Cult AND Firkraag ?

And for you both that you understand the Awesomeness = Chuck Norris'sness (uff!) of SAREVOK:
He even survived the dead as a Bhaalspawn( e.g. the Main-Character dies without exception, no surviving as a ghost ) and tricked the CHAR into reanimating him.

But the most outstanding of his Awesomeness happened, when he became Frenzy because of a Chaos spell in ToB and attacked my F/M/T (thats years ago...). I thought: "So what? he has his Buffs etc. wont do a scratch."
But with the fist hit Sarevok rolled a natural 20 with his 2h Sword +5 (the one with level drain, that can be +6)
AND activated his DEATHBRINGER ASSAULT!!! (the one and only time i saw it...)
He killed my char with a whopping 263 damage!!!

He's been pretty much retired for something like twenty years now, so he's obviously not going to be anywhere near as powerful as he was in his younger days, back when he helped out the Harpers a ton, and fought Firkraag and helped save some of the Bhaal children.

Also, you, Imoen, and Sarevok are pretty much minigods, especially as you near the end of ToB, which would put your power far above that of Gorion, Firkraag, or really any of the enemies you have faced. Really, lorewise, by the time you've finished most of ToB, you could probably kill Elminster and Blackstaff in a 2v1 fight, just due to all the dead Bhaalspawn, and how much of that energy is now yours.
